There was a racing interest in that engine too. If you know who Brad Keselowski is of NASCAR fame, his grandfather John of Kay Engineering had a factory 2 X 4 barrel intake manifold for one in his shop in Rochester, Michigan. I was driving a 1964 Plymouth Valiant with a 318 poly that my brother & I put in it out of close friends wrecked Polara. I got a Carter AFB 4 barrel onto a junkyard 4 barrel intake and swapped an 8-3/4" rear axle into it w/ a 4.10 (skinny pinion/ non 742) and a curved duel point prestolite out of a 69 340 Dart. Never took it to a dragstrip but we whooped a lot of 340's & 350's on Woodward Avenue with it. I always wanted to put John's duel quad intake on it but he kept the price too high for it. There was no purple shaft (or cop-car cam as John called it) available, I even ordered a cam from Sig Erson but it was an LA block cam no worky. You'd have had to have Isky or some shop grind one special for big money. Hooker didn't have headers for the poly in an A body and hand built headers were $750 from a shop on Race Street in Jackson, Michigan. So John was right, the hot parts were hand built and just too expensive to come by. I sure surprised a lot of Trans Ams, GTO's, 383 Roadrunners and 442's pushing my Dad's old 170 Slant 6 car w/ that 318 Poly Hemi. ben/ michigan

@@jenningsmotorsports7554 When you park a car with manual trans on a hill you put it in a low gear. If you use a high gear the car is more likely to roll. When the engine is turning the wheels a low gear gives the most torque to the wheels. When the wheels are applying torque to the engine the opposite is true. I look forward to you videos.
