Efco and Oleo Mac are both part of Emak S.p.A. Its like Husqvarna and Jonsered to Electrolux.

Any idea what walboro carb rebuild kit is needed . Im stumped. Efco john deere. Cs56 Build 2005. Carb says walbro HDA 1600 445. KIT K- 20. IS A NO FIT

Only the old stuff was echo, then John Deere actually purchased homelite from textron ran them for awhile and kinda cheapened them up sold them off. Homelite is owned by someone in China now so these effco’s was the last John Deere labeled saw. Now all John Deere dealers are allowed to handle Stihl for yard equipment because the two companies signed agreements for this. Only question is will the Deere dealers that handle Stihl be dealing the new Stihl zero turns along side the John Deere or not.

It's totally built well. Seems very similar to a Domar in build quality.

They’re an ok saw, while back they tried going large warranties even for pro users. They sold them everywhere including northern hydraulics” northern tool”. Had all these dealerships set up and we’re making a push to gain market. All was well at the start and they were doing the warranty repairs and reimbursing the dealers then it must have gotten to expensive and they started to leave dealers with the warranty bills and that kinda ended the push because everyone quit dealing them.
