You are going to do the same thing we did with the electrical junk the 6 volt. If I remember correctly the head comes off and the valve guides are held in by clips so, if you need to go that route the only needed from a machine shop if valve seats ground. We decided not to grind the head would not have done anything for power.

Man, first time I saw that thing, I couldn't wait for this day. So happy to see another old Fergie ready to bear the standard. Also, I find myself falling in line with the Scots. something i want to try in my garage I learned from a German manufacturer i worked at. they had mobile peg boards on wheels (but they were all steel) for each workstation that had all the common tools laid out. those tools were never put away in a drawer and were always handy. For my garage I would do the same thing for combination wrenches, screw drivers, sockets, and driver bits. I wouldn't need a 6x8 or whatever size the factory had, but a 3x5 or so would be plenty for a tinkerer and the wheels would make it convenient to store and put at arms reach for projects. I could get away with a lumber construction, but you may want a HD metal one or three.
