I would post "No Hunting-No Trespassing" around the entire perimeter of my land. I'm fine with hunting, but only on public lands designated, or private land that specifically invites hunting. Just because its hunting season is no excuse for violating property rights, and potentially un-alive-ing property owners by 'accident'. Nice video on this old babe... great to see them saved and loved♥️.

Buddy of mine recently picked up a "for parts" M602 MM. It turned over when he was winching it up on the trailer and so he decided to try starting it when he got it home. It popped right off and ran better than the one he already had and almost everything worked. Now he has two project tractors and is hunting for another 602 parts machine.

Is this a common occurrence? I had a similar experience with my 1952 W6. I lifted the rocker cover. Looked great! Dropped the oil pan and, to be honest, I've found uglier messed and the bottom of a bowl of truckstop chili. I just need to remedy some sloppy steering linkage and I've got a workhorse. I ended up getting a 1936 F12 for a project.

*Fun Fact:* There are only two types of starter configurations. The old 6-volt, which wires the four stator coils in a combination of 2 sets of two in a series-parallel, and the 12-volt which puts all four stator coils in series. The heavy-duty/high-power 12-volt version is really just a 6-volt starter with a rename and a higher price attached to it.😋
