Will it Start? Abandoned 1929 Ford AA Tow Truck

This time at the Quick Speed Shop, I find a 1929 Ford AA tow truck abandoned in a barn. Will it start? Will it run? Vice Grip Garage, Junkyard Digs, and Pole Barn Garage would like this one. This truck is all stock 1929 Model A Ford and its been sitting for a long time. Let's see if it will run and drive again. Another barn find rescue!

I saw a Ford TT truck cab and chassis that somebody apparently fitted with a 1932 grille shell and model A fenders and hood. Those parts appeared to fit perfectly

I'm surprised the TT cowl was wide enough to fit the A hood. There must have been some slicing and dicing involved.

I have a 1929 ford model a roadster pickup truck

Not a 1929 it has the 4 speed, 1930 steering wheel 1930 wheels and heavy 1930 only heavy front axle and brake drums .Ford used the 29 cab to June 1930

I know that the early 1930 trucks used the 1929 cab with a blade style filler cab. This cab still has the threaded gas filler cap. The wheels aren't original to the truck, they came off a 1930 I had. My research shows 4 speed showed up in Sept 1929 for the AA trucks. This truck was a doodlebug that was a combination of parts. It has the worm rearend in it, which I think was gone for 1930. The original engine was also a 1929 serial number. As far as I'm concerned it's mostly 1929.
