Nice old gitl,she wonts to work for sure. These series of gatcs were never meant for blade duty but they can do alright with a blade. Well worth taking som time and effort getting her in good shape and making sure she will start and run when needed.

I but in a inline fuel filter some liquid heet and either Seafoam or Lucas fuel system cleaner to stop the icing

Note at 1:32 You need 4 things to run,; Air, Fuel, Spark and Compression. Normally you have air but it can catch you off guard if you forget it.

Try a can of Engine Restore. A temporary fix till you rebuild the engine.

They sure don't make equipment like they used to! That thing is 90 years old and still going. A skidsteer or something would sure be a lot handier and more practical but there's just something about old iron that I love even though there's something better.
