Seeing that twin steer Kenworth brings back some nostalgia from my childhood. There was a bloke around the corner from our house that had one in Boral colour's of green chassis and a yellow cab. His name was Ray Zarb! I used to spend at least on day every month watching him work on it and occasionally help wash it. It was in pristine condition. I grew up in Seven Hills NSW.

Just discovered your channel. Terrific to see an Aussie with local knowledge, history and content. Much more meaningful than the predominantly US channels exploring similar content. Clearly you have the skills and experience to produce involving content. I am sure your ability to edit your footage and shoot more skillfully will grow rapidly. Many of your machines are full of character and so are some of the people featured. Yep, for these reasons your channel will be one to look forward to. More strength to you!

Hi Richard and thanks for watching. This is a very nice comment mate and the whole reason I do it is for people like you that appreciate it. I get a lot of criticism but there are a lot of nice people as well. I get criticised for talking too much but it’s how I want the channel to run and if I know the history of the vehicle or want to explain what I’m doing then I will talk about it. It amazes me how many people complain about free entertainment. Comments like yours make me want to grow. I will hopefully get better and better mate. There is plenty more to come . I have a lot of interesting things here. A few people have mentioned it’s good to see an Aussie channel. I’d like to think I can get it to where the American blokes are with subs and views. Please share mate and thank you again. Look forward to future comments so stay tuned

This channel cracks me up ( cold sandwiches ) I haven’t lived in Oz for 10+ years but I used to have a show on telly called Blokesworld. Your property is exactly the type of place I would visit. The other idiot too lazy to travel unfortunately. Anyway I got my license in an old acco non syncro 13 speed RR. If you have one, fire it up and show us how to smoothly slip into the impossible 9th gear 😀. Stay natural ( pay attention to your audio 🎤) luv it mate 💪.. Benwah.

Gday partner glad you like it. I remember the show indeed great stuff. She may have been a 9 speed overdrive where 8 and 9 are around the other way? Anyway I only have earlier accos with twin sticks but have others with road rangers I will eventually video. I’m only new to it mate and the audio thing is annoying me hard. Sometimes it’s good but other times , especially when something is running, I can’t be heard. Even speaking directly into it. If you have any advice on this mate it’d be much appreciated. Hi mate, yes that dozer is a 371 that’s right. I’ve heard of blokes doing it, mainly with the 53 series due to the smaller size and a higher rpm. The Jake’s off a v653 or a v671 will absolutely fit a 3 cylinder of the same series. They are the same heads. I’m sure you could hear it

Hi mate thanks for the nice comments. There’s 2 1948 (roughly) Bedford trucks, one has a v8 Holden in it, not standard but does look it and the other is original. There’s a 680 powerplus Leyland engine in that crane truck, and I believe a mate of mine has given me an Austin truck that I still need to pick up in the next few weeks, that will be an episode. I can’t tell you the model of it, I don’t know anything about them but it’s a cab over/ forward control truck. Plus a few fordson tractors, and other bits and pieces

Hi Trev yes it runs great. It had sat for roughly 20 years before I got it and it only took about 20 minutes to get it running. Great stuff mate they are good trucks I believe. I haven’t had a lot to do with them. Thanks for comment and watching. I will eventually do a run of that one

The whole thing sounds interesting. I just recently got a 4070 transtar with a 250 in it. That will be an episode to bring it home. It’s more of a parts truck but she should crank up. I’ve never seen it go in all the years I’ve known it.

I have an r model Mack here and a 1969 dcf 400. I have a 1973 g89 here too which sounds way better than the g88 here, only because the 89 is straight off the turbo. Sounds brilliant, but everyone wants to see the 88 start still which is fine. It will be a quiet video. Thanks for your interest

Gday Graeme thanks for watching. The 400 I’ve had for a few years now, 8v71n gm 15speed with Eaton diffs, hopefully will get to getting it on the road. Fairly unique truck theses days I’d say. The 4070 I only just bought off my uncle who is moving. It’s a 74 model I think, 871n with 13spd overdrive and rockwells. I really like those slimline cabs
