Anything I could give him with the knowledge I gained of KZbin- and he’s blown up and he’s risen to the same level of subscribers as myself!!! at this point now we share subscribers back-and-forth when they find this channel they get turned on the mine and vice versa. So to me, it would be an honor to associate myself with a channel like yours because of your great mechanical abilities. A little unclear of your question, but if your referring to the left side ignition control grip, turning it all the way in the same way as you do full throttle on the right side, it turns the ignition circuit breaker timing base, to the fully advanced position. Rolling the left side grip all the way forward, returns the timing base back to a fully retarded position. I hope i answered the right question. 👍🍺 thanks for watching and your comment!! SLICK

But I’m content with my twin cam now that I had it converted backwards to a carbed bike and rid it of that horrible MM injection. Hell of a talent you have too, knowing how to work on the older stuff and not needing a laptop to tune it.

What year twin cam and what carb did ya use? I do have a laptop for the twin cam stuff, and do that type of fuel management tuning and auto tuning as well. Out of the seven bikes I own, my 2011 road king is the only bike I own that’s fuel injected!!! 👍🍺

@@SlickHeadCustomCycles I have an 01 Electra Glide. Had the magnificent Magnetti Marelli (not the right spelling but close). Only other Harley I had was an early 80’s 883. Loved that bike, until I saw my reflection in a storefront one day in Hollywood. Picture the monkey and a football. 6’4” has no business riding a sporty. So finally got myself a bagger, well actually a Geezer Glide (turned 61 today so I’m officially a geezer). Problem was the early injection system. It still worked ok, but I got tired of fucking with it every time I changed something. No one here in town would touch it due to the injection system. I found one guy who took on the challenge. He tuned it up pretty good, but then laid it all out about how the MM injection would eventually fail and how there are NO parts available to maintain them. Said there was a lot of motor still untapped that we could get at with a carb. So saved up enough money and started collecting the parts. Dude, it was like I had put a big bore kit on that thing. I grew up with carbs, I understand them, injection is like voodoo to me.
