How to REMOVE , REPLACE and REINSTALL a bad ENGINE on a JOHN DEERE walk behind push LAWN MOWER model 14PZ push Lawnmower. ...EASY ENGINE SWAP. 5.0 Horsepower BRIGGS and STRATTON switched to HONDA GCV 160 motor. WILL IT WORK? Remove BLOWN engine (threw a rod!!!!!!!!) damage shown in video BIG hole in crankcase. , replace with common gcv 160 style Honda engine. Cables , blade , adapter , bolts. Fix repair problem procedure 14pz 14pb gcv160 gcv190 check test

I have one of these old mowers, I was wondering would it be possible to add a transmition and gear box on it to be able to turn it into a self-propelled lawn mower?

Anything is possible. However, if it is not setup for a transmission it may be alot of modifications to do it.

Why in the world were you using a 1/2” impact to tighten a 3/8” bolt?? lol. A grade 8 3/8” bolt is only good to 42 ft/Lbs

I probably just snugged them down with the impact then followed up with a hand wrench. I often do this, Or I was being lazy.
