I would recommend using a plastic rice scooper for it. Saves the pot.

RECKY, you almost used the jar opener gripper thing to lift that hot pot of rice. You do that and it will melt !! I was yelling at you thru the screen lol.

Recky, put the jar gripper on the fridge and the pot holders on the range hood. That way you won't mix them up. 😉

Electrician to the rescue! You're keeping him busy. Fortunately you were able to get the unit working but, at one point, was questioning the toll, emotionally and monetarily. The cooker performing as intended, the rice turning out perfectly, has hopefully put your anxieties aside so that whatever you make next will go smoothly. Was a 'nervous Nelly' watching this.

The red switch is the input voltage which in your case is 220vac. Luckily it sensed the incorrect voltage and shut off and didn't burn like the first one. You weighed the pot as being rice after you reset the scale. You need the pot included when resetting it, then add the rice, that's why in part 1 the rice was 473 grams and in part 2 it was 751 grams.

On the kitchen wall, in front of the refrigerator- and beside the door to the outside (it looks like about 2 or 3 feet of space?)- what is on the other side of that wall in the patio area? If it is the patio- you have a perfect spot to install a cat door so the kitties can come and go by themselves. Most have ‘locks’ on them so the door won’t open, to keep the kitties inside if you wish, like during the night. They also make these cat doors so the thickness is adjustable, so it will fit through a thin wall or a thick wall or anywhere in between. It will have a door on both sides of the entrance. Cats learn quickly how to use them, especially if good treats are involved! 🐈🐈❤

I'm glad the kitchenaid rice cooker works now. I do the rice cooker all the time and make just enough for 2 meals. LOL. Still you can freeze the cooked rice for future dishes if you don't end up eating it all.

Congratulations 🎉 on your buns, Carol!!! I’ve been making homemade breads for over 50yrs😬Damn, I’m getting old!!! Just wanted to let you know that homemade bread doesn’t last as long as store bought crap-mine goes 3-6 days, with white breads going first. Humidity, Temp, & handling take their toll pretty quick!!! I would highly recommend wrapping tight, then ziploc bagging them, & freezing your buns. There’s some new old ways of maintaining breads longer on the counter, from bread boxes making a comeback, to different materials to wrap them in, but unless you research & go one of those routes-Wrap & freeze!!! I believe you got some loaf pans as well, & most recipes make 2 loaves(or you can make a loaf, & then make some buns or whatever!), & if you make 2 loaves, I’d wrap a whole & also half of the other, for the freezer, & keep half out. I highly suggest the app “Etsy”-they’ve got all the new methods!!! Congratulations on the rice as well!!!🥰🙏

I do everything stove top ..I use the microwave for a bread box. 😊...am wondering how many more parts of this machine need to be cleaned ! A pot , 3:40 A lid & a spoon for me

Rice cookers are awesome! I love mine. You could also use some chicken broth with the water for flavor. I sometimes add quinoa too. Dinner looked awesome!

Did u know u can add spices to the rice before it cooks? I do that with our rice cooker. U can use chicken broth or beef broth,& vegetable broth instead of plain water. ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉

Input voltage should be swedish voltage 230 probably. Output voltage is 120v

Basmati is a better tasting and fluffy rice than the Jazmine rice.
