This video sounds like AI propaganda piece. For a long time , LAX is run like a piggy bank for the corrupt city of LA, who owns it, to raid often, . Those so-called "improvements" that have been completed are joke. Terminal 1 - primary Southwest Airlines - is still too tiny for the airline with barely any amenities. Don't even think there's any improvemetns for the biggest of the bunch , Tom Bradley International , it's like a mall operator bribed them to make it more like high-end mall than focus on actual improvements. Those extra gates - a good 15-30 minute walk underneath and still you most likely wait. That stupid "Encounter" restaurant , UFO in the middle, sits empty for decades now. No one ate there when it was open. Just a big waste of space.

LAX has exiled Metro Transit busses and trains from the airport. They also created a super awful Uber lot with surcharges that effectiely double the cost of rides. And they blocked the train station a mile outside the airport to make sure nobody uses it. Their goal is to force each traveler to drive their own car and park in super expensive lot, or rent one from an approved vendor.. The people mover will extend this bad plan. It doesn't accommodate transit. It's a bad plan.
