Will Mastercam run in Windows 11?

Hello, I am an MC distributor in Belgium. I have been running with Windows 11 and MasterCam for 3 weeks. I didn't notice anything in particular, no bug with Windows 11

Only issue I have so far is some of the buttons are hard to tell if they are selected, ie on the chaining menu, pressed buttons are blue-ish in windows 10 but not so much in 11.

I just downloaded your free 5 axis lesson on your website but I don’t think something is working properly with the versions or something. I can’t get the Haas 750 to show up in the available machines. The post says something about needing to update with a DLL utility or something also but I’m unfamiliar with that.

What version of Mastercam are you using?

@@CamInstructor I actually made it work but I had to open the post processor as a text file and then copy some stuff from the header into it from the one that is the default. Weird I spend an hour messing around till I got that to work.

The files in that lesson are for Mastercam 2021. If you are using 2022, yes the files would need to be updated.

Crazy coincidence. Just had to rebuild my work computer, (SSD, and new graphics card) and our IT guy suggested that I update to windows 11. Mastercam website only recommends windows 10, so I didn't go through with it. Thanks to your video I'll Probably just stick with windows 10

Does it matter if its Windows 11 Home or does it have to be Windows 11 Pro?

Doesn't matter. Main difference is Pro has Bitlocker, which is a just some encryption options. No performance difference between Home and Pro with Mastercam.
