I personally like too. Soak my fish with salt and ice and let it push thru fish my placing ice salt on top of fish.then I use half corn mean half flour salt ,paprika,pepper,and Cheyenne pepper,and shake in bag,and make sure grease temp is 350 or lil above,I'm just a country guy been fishing my whole life...think I was four five when I caught my first fish,still have the picture,and yes it was a largemouth,

Back in the early 80s when I ran the lock on Highway 60 at the Kissimmee river I can catch 10 to 12 pound bass quite often and I released everyone of them, Take the girth and the length and you can have a mount made and the fish lives to be caught and spawn again, that’s why back in the 90s our speck population went way down due to people overfishing them!!!

There's nothing wrong with eating Bass know me I like Bass that are just over the legal size from nice cleaner lakes the big Bass I'd rather put them back in the water. Now for catfish the only one's I keep and eat are the blue catfish I do like perch and crappy and walleye an trout mmmmm . O come on you don't put ketchup on fish ewww you use tartar sauce or ranch dressing
