New subscriber, love your parents. They are so supportive (tell you mom I love her hair, have been planning to get pink & turquoise in mine at the tips). I have a few suggestions, first is obvious, the JK & Usher performance video. For your dad you need to do Jin & Coldplay performing The Astronaut live in Argentina. Make sure and show them Chris’ speech first, those videos make me emotional every time and I have an RM bias (they might enjoy Flower Work by RM). For BTS, given how they appreciate choreography, as a former professional dancer I think they would love Black Swan, Jimin is poetry in motion and everyone shines on a deep & meaningful song. Spring Day with the explanation video would also be something special, showing their depth, empathy & commitment to change within a rigid society.

I'm 70 and my first exposure to BTS was the Dynamite debut. It was love at first view. I've watched their training videos and how they practice so hard. Love their personalities, their choreography, their voices! They are each so talented. I don't like or watch any other k-pop groups. ARMY all the way. Waiting for their release from military service.

My granddaughter introduced them to me during Covid…been a fan ever since! Watching Permission To Dance for the first time, I cried. Especially at the end when they incorporated sign language in their dance. It was a perfect song during the pandemic, expressing that no matter what we could do- or not do during lockdown….we still could dance!!!

I agree that it doesn't matter to me if they're singing in Korean or English, anymore... I'm past it. I just enjoy the music and the "feel" of the songs, the ambiance. Their personalities and talents shine through beyond the language. I get asked by my older brother how I can stand listening to music I can't even understand... seriously? (we're too old to be so petty! LOL!) I still sing along even though I don't know what I'm singing, not just the English parts. LOL! Most of the time, I don't even think I'm singing the right Korean words, but my heart is right there with it. That's all that really matters. How happy they make us!

Permission To Dance is the second song they used 'International Sign Language' but it's not really International as most countries have their own Sign Language, but I'm glad they used sign language.

on their clothes: Jin has said that he just wears what the stylists give him, but he does tend to favor Thom Browne in his personal wardrobe, and it's speculated that he'll end up as their brand ambassador once he's discharged from the military. V (Taehyung) has uticaria (hives in reaction to heat, sweat, and pressure on the skin), so he tends to favor looser clothes in natural fibers. All of them dress in fairly baggy styles--don't know if that's what's trendy or they like the comfort. With the exception at the moment of Jin, noted above, the rest of them are brand ambassadors for high-end men's fashion houses: RM Bottega Veneta incidentally, their first international spokesman Suga Valentino J-Hope Louis Vuitton Jimin Dior, and also Tiffany V Celine, and also Cartier (he was blond during the first Cartier promotions and they decked him out in gold---OMG, he was gorgeous) JungKook Calvin Klein (those ads have left ARMY pretty breathless)

RM being very very humble we know they can all play at least one instrument we've even heard RM while he was a bit tipsy play a classcial piece on his keyboard at first he kept making mistakes, hic cupping apologising then played it perfectly. We've seen both Jin and Suga both play piano and guitar on stage live. We've seen V play his saxophone and recently after the his band practice for his Tiny Desk concert we got to see and hear him jamming with the band on the Saxophone. We've seen Jimin at the keyboard working out melodies for his Face Album. We've heard Jungkook Play drum's on stage and we heard him play guitar.

Your parents are awesome! I share bias with your dad😂. Jin was born on December 4th actually - most of the countries outside US are using the day-month-year date format. They don't use their own clothes in the MVs, LOL. They pick the outfits themselves with the help of their stylists. Outfits are then archived because they're often used in various exhibitions. Surprisingly, it's Jin who often messes with the clothes, like spray painting his jeans for "Fake Love". Fun fact: "Dynamite" was the first (and only) music video in LEGO history with an officially released set. [edit] Noooo... Ellen was extremely disrespectful towards them and after the last time they were guests on her show, they've never accepted to appear there again. They've cancelled her before it was cool, similar to James Corden. Even Stephen Colbert was being shady towards them when he had Paul McCartney as a guest. Jimmy Fallon is the only American talk show host that they like and appear on his show exclusively right now. From my own experience as someone with sensitive eyes, ARMY bombs are the one lightsticks that aren't as offensive to the eyesight.

As far as cooking goes, Jungkook, Jin and Suga are the best. Jungkook is actually a cook in the military. Jin plays some piano, Suga plays piano and guitar, RM plays saxophone in military band and plays piano, Jimin can play piano and guitar, Taehyung plays trumpet, piano, violin, and piano, Jungkook plays drums.

@34:52. Although not widely known as he is so quiet. Suga speaks the best English - next to RM......that is a little known fact. Back in the day: Tt was kind of funny. Bare in mind there maybe many vids scrubbed from the net as Big Hit/Hybe has 'changed their 'narrative', as the number one 'BTS Bible' to all Baby Army is Taylor Marie's "Guide to BTS". However.......I've seen thousands of their 'behind the scenes/interviews etc etc' over the past 7 yrs. And there was once a time when it was almost a friendly competition between RM & Suga speaking English while answering questions. We got the impression that Suga enjoyed 'showing RM'....that he was NOT the only one who understood/spoke English and did so publicly in an interview one night. Guy asked a question? RM (translated said question into Korean) got ready to answer 'on behalf of the group as he always did'......when Suga CUT IN....and answered in perfect English. Ohhh-hhhhh the LOOK that RM gave him? 🤣🤣Let's put it this way. 'That situation' never happened again. If it did? Not too often. Big Hit/Hybe/BTS ran with the 'narrative' from Taylor Marie's "Guide to BTS" that RM was the 'only person who spoke or understood English" - back then. Not so. Suga never wanted to be their leader....all he wanted to do was produce Music and although his spoken English was not on par with RM's? He just wanted RM to know. "Hey Bruh....You're not the only one -Mmmmkay?" Was too funny that night. Anyhoo - that was then. This is now. Just wanted to share that fun fact with new Army 💜💜 Ps. Please . Don't ask me for a 'link' lol. There are innumerable amounts of material have seen over the yrs, just as there many I probably have not. Given that I only discovered them three yrs after their debut. Dates in Korea (and in most countries of the world) are written in this order: DD MM YYYY (Day/Month/Year). It is done in ascending order: from the smallest value (day), to the medium value (month), to the largest value (year). A minority of countries use the format YYYY MM DD (Year/Month/Day). It is done in descending order: from the largest value (year), to the medium value (month), to the smallest value (day). This format is known as ISO 8601 and since the 1980s, due to the proliferation of the internet and ecommerce, is slowly becoming the preferred date format in the world. [NOTE: ISO stands for International Organization for Standardization.] Only a handful of countries use the format MM DD YYYY (Month/Day/Year) where there is neither ascending or descending order. For example, this format is used in the United States, Canada, the US Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Panama, the Philippines.

Loved your reaction video, thank you, and always great to find intergenerational appreciation of these exceptional young men. Looking back over all the artists of my lifetime BTS stand out as extraordinary and a ray of sunshine when the world was dark. They continue to be a ray of sunshine. As a mother and grandmother I very much appreciate their example in many kinds of ways. We need good examples, sunshine, music and laughter in our lives. What a phenomena it is that it doesn't matter if they're singing in Korean when I don't know any. Amazing that so many non Kireans feel the same way. New subscriber. Silver Army in my 70s, in Australia, only Army in my family, found Permission to Dance during Covid isolation, loved the dancing skills, the song the video, the smiling infectious faces with personalities shining through, went looking for more and went down the rabbit hole that day.

RM wrote the rap lines. All 3 of the English songs were put out during covid to cheer ARMY up. also, it's good to listen and read the lyrics as BTS lyrics are always so well written and meaningful. ( I love that you share music with your parents. I'm also Silver ARMY, 70 yrs old. ) I think The Grammy performance of Butter might have even more views? That butter was really cheese. Permission to dance, Jimin's cowboy outfit is was copied for ken in the Barbie Movie and to thank, Jimin, Ryan Reynolds sent him Ken's guitar from the movie. I enjoyed your reaction! I love all their songs. I have been ARMY since 2016. When my daughter introduced me to them. I'm 52 now, and seeing BTS in concert is a bucket list item. When you talked about who speaks English...RM is definitely best. JK and JHope are next. I heard that Suga can read English and understand more than he lets on, but he is not comfortable speaking it.

Hi. I just happened to come across your channel. I like it when people introduce parents to BTS since I am older, though not a silver ARMY. I am a Suga bias and also love all the others equally so do call myself OT7 sometimes. I loved your introduction to each of the members. I’m so glad you mentioned that Suga produces not only for BTS. You did a great intro to each of the members! Love that you father likes Jin and your Mom is also really nice! It must be great to have open minded parents like them! I hope you have them react to something more their style next time after only English songs since they are more typical pop and many others are not on the first listen/watch. A live with subtitles and dance would be awesome esp since they are familiar with Korean music. I loved seeing this! Side note: not sure if you knew that the airplane flying over was really an airplane going by at just that time and they kept it in the MV for Dynamite. Subbed. 😊💜💜💜💜💜💜💜🇨🇦

BTS hardships they went through the older ones are the best BTS allergies who has what allergy you'd be a surprised what the allergies are and the people unnecessarily hating them for no good reason and the history of the way their country has been governed that's one of the reasons but you have to understand their history of the country and I love your mom and your dad so don't worry they're very sweet and don't worry about it because I'm going to be 73 in July
