In my opinion as a superhero fan, the coolest part of the story is that you proved that it was possible for one person to build something so outrageous. Not for millions of dollars, not requiring dozens or even hundreds of employees and a factory support; but with ingenuity, research, and technical know-how. All things that normal people can emulate. I was annoyed they didn't seem to have accurate info in the Barret Jackson and Hoovie videos, and I wonder why they didn't reach out to you. I can only assume it would help sell the car to have the builder, I would think they would want to pay to fly you to the auction to be there when it crosses the block....

But because you are a bit of a celebrity yourself, it makes them look incompetent if you know both sides of the story. I'm sure they can find a buyer who will be amazed by it, and it might not matter, but don't sell yourself short. It would legitimize their sale, and lead to a more informed customer base to have you there able to answer any question. Without you there, it leaves so many open questions that will meet a blank stare. Keep building Casey, love the content!!

My Dad worked for a company called Sierra Research in Buffalo Ny. They made sub hunting sonar buoys that eventually would get pushed out of holes on the belly of P7s. These sonobuoys would float in the ocean to ping Soviet subs. Part of the development of this idea used those drone helicopters to test out the idea. Cool connection to the bat mobile.

@@CaseyPutsch if you can sell it for 2.5m then maybe you might get a generous gma t50 , t33 ,t43, scuderia glikenhaus scg008 , arx3 , nimbus, aptera, lotus, owner to sell you something. i sent comment replying to you about hypermiling as a layer of dirving fun on top of what ever speed or traction loss people want, talking about that idea once in a while would be cool like taking about being a left lane hog. how about honda s660 or honda bike inline 6 in lotus tranversly mounted then orbis electric motors per wheel, orbis says its same weight as stock wheels and brakes. if not that super smooth troque vectoring nice sounding small car, then it could be toyota flat 4 or inline 3 lotus elise. maybe it could be small battery aptera with small combustion generator for, for unxpectedly long trips, unexpected trips, unexpectedly fast trips, and concept is nice for people who cant charge any battery.

Thanks for making this video! It answered all my questions! It is SILLY that no one has reached out to you on how to operate and maintain the batmobile. They really SHOULD reach out to you. If whoever does buy it needs it fixed I'm sure you could charge them an arm and a leg to fix it, if something breaks ;)

Casey, glad to see that you seem to be back enjoying the grind again, both wrenching on stuff in the garage as well as being a youtuber. Not sure if it was your daughter creating some perspective (if thats it please let me know, my little girl is due in about a month and any advice on what i'm in for would be helpful) or just that life stopped kicking your ass quite so hard. (hopefully both) These videos since the new year seem to have a "vibe" similar to those early in your youtube career. I find myself both inspired to get our to the shop to start building something, itching to make a positive impact in my community, as well taught a lesson in life or in dealing with the real world. Keep it up man, whatever your doing is working.

Enjoy your channel and content. Hoping that you start showing builds on the channel moving forward. Talking about builds (Vinwiki) is interesting but it's the documented, actual build from car channels that grabs my attention and keeps me coming back. I had a writing professor that kept pounding this into our heads, "show, not tell." I would really like you, Casey, to show me more of your builds. I'd like to see your take/advice on welding. I'd like to see how you as a racer dial in pitch and camber on frame and axel. I am curious about your preference for tools and manufactures. I would like also to see you and the crew at Genius Garage going thru the struggles of the build. These are all just suggestions from a fan. You've asked a couple of times what we the viewers would like. So there's be that. Keep moving forward!

It's amazing for me that people who creators have met once at some convention will call another creator their 'friend' .. A friend is someone who I could honestly put hand on heart and say I could breakdown somewhere at 3am and they would be cool with getting out of bed and doing what it takes to liberate me, and I know I would do the same for. But they are few and far inbetween, and you should treat people like that right when they do come into your life..

Simply said, the Batmobile was a iconic (but fictional) car of our youth and you build the most iconic replica ( !JETPOWERED! ). That is well something, the fact alone that the car is still preserved till today and is so much worth ( not only in money value). For me still the coolest Batmobile of all and the best replic of all (missing only the shield 😉).

No, seriously. It really is the coolest custom car on the planet. It's 1 of 1. No others like it. Yes, it's a replica of a movie car, but it's so true to the bit! The work that went into making it a reality, and the end result = title for coolest custom car on this planet Earth! Don't get it twisted, there's some AMAZING work out there. Amazing. I've just yet to see someone make something this unique off of something that only existed in a movie prior. Hell, even the car they built for the movie wasn't powered by a turbine. It was supposed to be, but they didn't go that far. Yet, you did. That said... for me the mere existence of this and how it came to be are a great reminder that as difficult as things may seem, there's usually always a way. F'real, you built something that only existed in fiction prior. No big sponsorship or team of madmen. Just a man with an idea and the gumption to make it happen. It's not impossible, just difficult and in some cases improbable, but not impossible.

That car is badass, its one of a kind. Its no different than when Metal Works in Orange County (fountain valley) built the first (white) Dodge Viper. Its a one of a kind just like the 1991 Viper (red) that Carol Shelby drove in the Indy 500. Its priceless.

Designing a car body and slapping it on a pre existing frame and drive train to look good for the cameras isn't what I consider a car designer. The real car designers are the engineers like you that make a cars accessories and components work the way they're supposed too and as far as I know your the only person who has ever made the bat mobile to the standards that a hard core fan would expect. I just wish you had video of the build process
