Living and driving in Ontario Canada, and having family in Germany I visit, the difference in overall driving skill is massive. People on German Autobahns are aware, that if they don't watch their rearview mirrors, they in fact, are at risk of losing their lives by being too slow. Meanwhile oftentimes the left lane here in Ontario is the slowest moving lane and it forces people to try and overtake via right lanes.

My 2011 is an awesome car and had no problems at all. You mess around with tech you need to know exactly what your doing. Especially aftermarket stuff. I learned my trade with BMW up to Master technician and i repair my Maserati no matter what is wrong with it.

Casey I have a 1996 spur with 23000 miles on it. I have the exact same problem on my right rear door. The plastic inside seems to have split so the rods are not functioning correctly. Can also open it from the inside. How can I contact you for your more in depth solution?

Agree with this video 💯 I've found that some drivers like to hog LL so they don't have to pay much attention until their exit. A very lazy, selfish, and unsafe approach to driving. Our interstates would be so much more efficient, less crowded, safer, and greener if we adopted autobahn-like behavior.

I'm buying my first auto shop, and this was helpful insight. You're also hilarious - you remind me of my drummer who's mind races at a million thoughts per second.

Left lane campers are an EPIDEMIC in Michigan. Everyday at the same time, I see the same losers merge on to a nearly empty highway (early in the AM), and immediately cut across 3 lanes of traffic just to drive for 30+ miles in the left lane. The afternoon commute is even worse. Yesterday, there was some ahole doing 65/70 going neck and neck with a semi in the middle lane. I was directly behind the guy, trying to keep my distance but quickly losing patience. Finally, he passes the semi, and PROCEEDS TO STAY IN THE LEFT LANE. I turned on my brights, and started closing the distance. He proceeded to flip me off, and points to the right, acting like I was the one in the wrong. So, running out of options, I passed the guy, got back in front of him, and slowed down to 50, forcing him to get over. Was that the right thing for me to do? Probably not. Did the hundreds of other cars piling up behind me trying to go faster appreciate it? Most likely

I think your showing your lack of experience if your not mentioning the middle lane, being a passing lane also, and if not passing in the middle lane you need to. Move into the right lane, also many of us would not risk getting closer than 2 seconds before moving out to pass , in order to defend ourselves from law enforcement giving us a citation for following to close. But you are teaching correctly that after passing you need to move right. And that does mean the same for any lane left of the right lane.

Lack of experience or the fact that the general populace can barely handle the idea that any lane is for passing and requires baby steps?

Not just the general public but traffic law enforcement don’t mention that when they discuss it, like the one that road with you didn’t mention the middle lane. I was told by the law enforcement here in anchorage that slower traffic keeps right means move into the two right lanes, which is not only poor advice, but wrong advice. Those signs mean move right out of the left lane , ( or Lanes). We have left lane new left lane laws in most states , and I haven’t seen any that have mentioned anything about the middle lane or lanes. AAA goes as far as showing a diagram showing the middle lane as being a thru lane . That is wrong and in fact that contributes to drivers not being able to leave the far left lane to get out of the way of traffic coming behind , and where trucks are restricted from using the left lane , there passing lane is the middle lane and some misguided drivers are using that lane as a thru lane, instead of a passing lane , and backs up traffic needlessly. I hope from now on you mention that middle lane so that we can get everyone on the same page. If slower traffic keep right, and keep right except to pass are fully understood than those new left lane laws aren’t necessary I think they’re a little misguided by lawmakers that don’t understand driving very well.
