Exactly the same for me, bruv. I'd heard his name going into FD 22 and his strong style while combining the athleticism made me say I gotta watch more of this cat. Then after 1 shoot interview I said this guy's officially my favorite wrestler. Just the way he seemed to eschew overt compliments because he's more comfortable talking eye to eye as human beings was both rare and genuine. He also wrestles to live not the other way around, which I have to respect. And someone who mentions their mom that often in interviews can't be that bad of a guy lol

I heard rumors he was going to WWE, which in wrestling is always possible as they are #1 for now and they have been around forever. I doubt it. WWE's established brand name by itself will make that extremely difficult. WCW had a chance because WWF wasn't as big yet and it wasn't starting from scratch, but was built off of established brands in Jim Crockett promotions and the NWA. To the average person, WWE is to wrestling what Oreos are to cream-filled chocolate cookies. It doesn't matter that they aren't the first, or even if they're the best. It's still the name everyone knows.
