I love you guys and at the end of the video you took the words right out of my brain. After watching you race - the only thing holding you from running 10's is totally the launch and shifting speed. Man, 3:49 the guy that drove 2,600 miles from florida with his dog. Wow just Wow in a 32 Ford coupe Big block chevy with a blower straight headers exiting right by the door, stock looking suspension. He is a He man the Heat from the engine/ sound of exhaust at Highway speed Im surprized he could hear what you were saying/ practically no suspension his back and legs have to be aching ..But he's made it there 👍Danny Great Job on the 11: 18 run I kept thinking your losing all your time in Shifts you figured it out, now you just have to get off the line better 60foot you should make the 10 second run 👍🏆Maybe do some tire pressure changes. Car probably weighs 3,228 its hard to judge because QA1 suspension not a factory K-member/ torsion bars or control arms. It also depends on How much gas is in Gas tank at the time its weighed.

You should have a small race tank in the trunk to fill with high octane race gas that you switch to to drag then use the regular tank to drive on. That's how some of the race week drivers do back east.

Hi! Look forward to watching your videos every week. I would say Rum Runner weighs in at 3410. Also you should put in windows because the air that gets into the car hits that back window and traps the air. That’s why trucks lay down the tailgates when they race.

Great Job Danny!!! When you see that 60-foot time closer to 1.50 you will be in the 10's. As you have said, It's in the launch and that car is very capable of those 10's!!!! My guess of Rum Runners weight is 3278 lbs.

I'm guessing 3285 lbs. I have the exact same scales. I have had them for 5 years and they work perfectly. No wires to deal with they are awesome. I'm a physics guy. Put some windows in and you will get your 10's. Right now your windows are like little parachutes. Physics makes you faster. Your doing great and I love your channel. Thank you for your time.

Are you running a stage three clutch? Adjust transmission linkage that may give you a more solid transmission engagement that way you can stay in it through second gear

Danny yeah I was with you on the good runs I knew both times, the first, and last runs were the best just because of the launches. 3,312 lbs weight on the car. Wild guess I know they were heavy back in 69 the big block cars over 4,000 on some.

Need to set up a two step to launch from, that way you can floor the gas pedal and it will dial in a specific rpm that you can change to get the best launch. YOu can trigger it with a button on steering wheel.
