When Brady won ring #2, nobody was comparing him to Joe Montana or Terry Bradshaw. Here's THE reason Patrick will never eclipse Tom: last night's tackle before first half almost snapped his ankle. Think RG3, running QB's take physical abuse, one wrong hit, and your done, if he keeps running he will find out the hard way.

This was mahomes 5th year starting. But they are comparing it to bradys numbers at 27 after brady's 3rd season starting. The numbers get much better if you compare their first 5 years starting. That being said, Mahomes is the only one in the league right now who can sniff Brady's legacy. His talent is undeniable and with the coach he has now, the tight end, and his contract that will look more and more team friendly as the years go by, he has a chance.

Mahomes: 37 TD, 13 INT, 4839 Yds, 66.3% Brady: 43 TD, 12 INT, 5316 Yds, 67.5% Mahomes is amazing and definitely on pace to become the 2nd best of all time and possibly compete for the GOAT status. I keep seeing people say Hurts outplayed Mahomes but I really don’t see how? At best I think they both played similarly great with a different play style. Hurts had the ball A LOT longer so of course his numbers were bigger, but he also had the only big mistake of the whole game with that fumble. Mahomes had the ball for nearly a whole quarter less and had to be almost perfect and was.

Good grief, these GOAT conversations spawned by the sports media for the last decade--if not longer--have gotten too ridiculous. I'm not a Mahomes hater, but let the dude at least put in a decade of work before the hyper-active press crowns him as the greatest thing since chicken soup, or the cure for the common cold. Remember when Rodgers won that Superbowl & he was the next Golden Boy who was going to challenge Montana and Brady--how did that work out. That's why I loathe these debates--the media is too determined to ride someone's nuts, or they leave too many legends out. Now, I'll just prepare for the next NBA debate where Bill Russell, Magic, Kareem, Kobe and Wilt are never mentioned & it's just LeBron and MJ.... 🙄🙄
