1.) The birth control theory is the most scientifically backed theory for sure. The Women appear to have their estrogen levels consistently suppressed from their teens to through their 40's and it has completely changed their desire for men. Not only has this been altered by the birth control but also the chemicals in our food, and water supply. With nearly 90% of women or girls consuming these products it's fair to say the vast majority of women consider "pretty boys" as preferable to masculine men. However, the increase in total women over time that desire pretty boys won't be significantly increased any time soon except in places like Africa or different small Asian countries. 2.) The Feminazi Agenda to feminize men and make females more masculine over time is a continued trend and the trend starts with and ends with Hollywierd. This may just be a trend but it's coinciding with the increase in chemicals in the food and water and increase in birth control. This isn't a trend like hair or clothes this is a long term change due to our biology being unnaturally altered. Therefore, we can deduce that this will not change as long as these chemicals and b control are being pumped into females. The feminzazis will push the feminizing of men and masculinizing of women more and more until the sexes are indistinguishable. Overall the T levels in men have decreased by over 50% in about 1 generation or so and is continuing to plummet. The food, porn, medications, lifestyles are all to blame for this. From all this information we can assume that a pretty boy will have a higher amount of women to select from. However, if a masculine man finds a woman off the B control then you may be able to find higher quality women in terms of long term partners. Because if a man Marry's a woman who is on B control but then goes off it eventually with you then she may no longer be attracted to you later since you are a pretty boy who she was originally attracted to on B control.

Pretty boys aren't exactly highly feminized, they usually have strong masculine features like strong jawline and hollow cheeks, dark eyebrows and hunter eyes. The other feminine traits they have contrast with their masculine traits and makes them stand out. If they went only masculine they wouldn't stand out as much but they'd still be good looking dudes. tbh I don't think most of us actually have the option to become a pretty boy lol.

The problem is not that girls like prettyboys because we all know they're good looking, but the problem is that they prefer prettyboys over masculine chads, this is dosn't make sense to me because isn't a feminine woman supposed to be attracted to a masculine man and vice versa ? Good observation. Honestly, I think pretty boys are often just young chads in terms of genetics. Their skin and hair are nicer because they're young, and they haven't had the time to bulk up yet. Most pretty boys have the option to transform into chads if they choose (by lifting and changing their style).

Chads are just older pretty boys, I’m almost 30 now and seen year after year how girls go for the pretty boy up until maybe 18-21 then they go after chads (who are typically pretty boys who found the gym and money) then in their 30’s go after hyper masculine men (who are typically chads who build themselves into amazing men) throughout history this has been a thing. James bind is just a hyper masculine man with the boyish charm of a pretty boy and the style and grace of a chad. That’s why he’s the pinnacle of masculinity.

Theory 4: Ultra masculine men were never popular to begin with. Women chose them in the past because they lived in violent societies and needed someone who could intimidate other men(while secretly sleeping with the beautiful men). All those pre 2010 movies/shows where the jock/tough guy gets the girl were written by male writers with a male gaze. Female writers were extremely rare until recently. It created the delusion that "alpha males" were getting all the girls. In the modern era, female writers vastly prefer soft and gentle beautiful male leads in their stories. Tiktok and instagram has shown pretty boys and beautiful men get all the female attention while bodybuilding bros only get attention from other bros. If you think this is because of the pill, you are wrong. Look at how insanely popular the Beatles, young Elvis Presley, young Michael Jackson were many decades ago. They were all flamboyant pretty boys with girly hairstyles during their peak. Women preferring beautiful men is simply nature correcting its course as society is no longer violent and movies/shows are no longer written solely by male writers. Ironically, its women who were being brainwashed in the past to prefer masculine men rather than vice versa. Now that they are the ones making content, its clear what they prefer. No amount of coping will change this.

Perfect comment. I have been waiting to see this analyzed. The gruff ultra masculine archetype was created by men. It's a completely male centric idea about what the ideal man should be and how he should look. Women never truly desired it but accepted it because of societal programming. Now that they can choose you see the types they prefer. Look at the men that are popular in media women like.

If you're young enough Leonardo Dicaprio might be the oldest pretty boy you remember. I think the reason "pretty boy" guys are popular is because of social media, and the fact many of those on social media could be considered young girls. So as a result they respond better to guys who in turn, look young or cute. I can't speak for girls as a guy of course, but growing up around them. It seems to be the case from what I seen so far.

I think the opposite, social media has just revealed to men how popular with teens/young women PrettyBoys are, and they are shocked. BoyBands have teens screaming at them for this reason, Elvis was a PrettyBoy when he first was popular, so were many young Hollywood idols. It’s a young female sexuality that finds younger men appealing but as we get older (23+) we start to like the more mature full-on men that intimidated and even disgusted us as young women.
@ikemreacts
@ikemreacts Жыл бұрын
@@viviennedunbar3374 Elvis was not a PrettyBoy. What about him is feminine? I have also seen the Beatles - working-class lads to a man - also mis-labelled in this conversation. And that's because Modern Women have almost as much testosterone as he does.
@viviennedunbar3374
@viviennedunbar3374 Жыл бұрын
@@ikemreacts of course Elvis had the Pretty Boy aesthetic as a young man. He has the soulful eyes, the ability to reach young girls emotionally at a young age that most young men cannot, it was this combined with raw sex appeal and competency as a musician that makes him magnetic. Older men criticized both Elvis and The Beatles for being too feminine. Men don't understand it because they don't have a female gaze. Just because a man is working class doesn't mean he can't be a Pretty Boy. Its more about getting in touch with the vulnerable feminine part of themselves that tunes them into young women. This only lasts while they are young as they become mature men their aesthetic changes and younger men come in to take their place. Young Elvis was sexy in a way that regular guys around him just weren't, he had a feminine sensuality while a young man. It doesn't mean he wasn't masculine too, but its a certain kind that young men can have. Its the youthful vulnerability and feminine flirtatious that drives girls wild. It tunes in to teen girls sexuality in particular as its very sexy but non threatening.

Theory 3 is definitely my favorite as well, as it's natural for trends to come and go. A hyper-masc chad will star in something (we might already be seeing it with Henry Cavill), and the pendulum will swing the other way. At the end of the day, chads and pretty boys are cut from very similar genetic cloth and just update their hair, clothes, bodies, and skincare routines.

There's a gigantic elephant in the living room missing here: pretty boys only attract TEENAGE GIRLS! Wheat Waffles is so smart and insightful sometimes, but other times he cannot see beyond his 21 year-old perspective. Wheat Waffles, there is life after youth! There's no way that the future of dating is going to see women in their 20s, 30s and 40s all wanting Justin Bieber look alikes. It has been this way forever, pretty boys attract teenage girls but by the time they get towards marriage age they are rarely still attracted to them. 15 years ago it was Justin Bieber just like in the 1970s it was Donny Osmond or Tony DeFranco. These pretty boys were beloved by teenage girls but by the time they hit their early twenties they weren't so interested in them anymore. I have a friend who was sort of a pretty boy when he was young and even though he's never been taller than 5' 5" he still attracted teenage girls for quite some time even as he got older because for a long time he still had those pretty-boy looks. Teenage girls went nuts for him when he was their age and also when he was in college and beyond but he couldn't seem to attract girls his own age very well from his twenties onward. Pretty boys are not going to replace Chads or hyper-masculine men for the vast majority of marriage age women or older.

I think theory 1 is the most accurate. I have seen this playout alot more than the other. Pretty boys predate Jack by about 10 years and they were already growing in popularity. Women have also started to date and marry more feminized men. From what I have observed, the pretty boys bring nothing to the relationships. The women were also usually attractive enough.

New kids on the block were the first pretty boy band I can remember in the late 80s. then all those teen magazines came out where the young girls going through their boy craze were drawn too. I think it started in the 80s with more feminine sounding artists like prince and Michael Jackson. Maybe the estrogen in the water? who knows. lol Glam rock, rock bands wearing make up and stuff was big then to.

I have another theory: Younger generation getting more and more economic influence, and the trends go where the money is. Back in the day, teenagers did not have any money, so companies would market their products towards people with income - which were older men and vvomen. So it also reflected on the pop culture. You would see mostly older people on the cinema screens and magazines. Today on the social media, most users are very young people, and they are voting with their views and likes, not money, so they don't need income to have an impact. A teenage girl view/like is just as good as a view/like of someone with high income, but there is more of them. Basically it means there is more demand for pretty boys because most social media users are young people, but it doesn't reflect the demand IRL for more mature people.

Prettyboys not only the future of the dating market, they are also the present and the past of the dating market. It's not a tik tok trend or anything. Just look at pop/rock stars of the past: Pop punk artists, boy bands, Kurt Cobain, Axl Rose, David Bowie and all glamers in general, The Beatles. Some of them look more masculine because men were generally more masculine with higher T back in the day. But no one who has ever targeted young female audience (or tried to appeal to female gaze in general) looked like gigachad, c-bum or Dwayne Johnson. Big muscle, extreme leanness and square jaw is mostly male power fantasy. Looks that earn you repsect from other guys and looks that girls like are usually two different things, because men and women have different understanding of aesthetics. Why is it so hard to realise..

This is a male gaze misunderstanding. When women are young (teens and young adults) they don’t usually find the Uber masculine male attractive (muscle bound, beard, strong jaw, self assured, in work/career) as they find them somewhat threatening, too much of a true MAN (i.e. totally mature physically and outgrown a young male aesthetic). Also as a young woman older men would make comments about my looks and body and I found it creepy and intimidating, I wasn’t flattered. In terms of mating, the majority of these women are just not emotionally ready for a man who is full-on mature male. Not until women are 23+ do most women even start to like a more mature man. The average physical difference in male and female means young women feel literally physically threatened by men like this. They might even enjoy their photos but IRL wouldn’t go near them. There has always been the phenomenon of boy bands, even Elvis was a very sultry, sexy young PrettyBoy who loved his mama, he wasn’t threatening to young girls. So the PrettyBoy is really just an attractive younger teen/man who is similar to contemporary young women in terms of maturity and build. He isn’t physically threatening and isn’t full-on mature man. The guy at high school that so many of my peers had a crush on was a very typical PrettyBoy, he was about 5’10” had good features with a full mouth and blond hair that flopped in his eyes, he was vulnerable and a bit shy and awkward but had a good smile and eye contact (all of which was also typical of Elvis) and just was super sexy to teen girls. He also got on fine with the guys, he wasn’t a social, outcast. I think the problem is too many men look at other men not understanding the Female Gaze and what women find sexy. They think what they highly value is what women should highly value and sometimes don’t understand certain guys great success with women. PrettyBoys are definitely NOT a new phenomenon. I think social media has just revealed to men how very popular these kind of boys/men are. My daughters ages 22 & 19 both love Harry Styles and both are very attracted to Asian men, despite the stereotypes. At their college there is a high % of Asian men and they both tell me how attractive they find many of them. Also, just as older men find young women sexy, older women will still find PrettyBoys who are clearly still young men sexy for the same reasons, youth, good looks, health and energy. Some of these PrettyBoys don’t age well however. Then the mature man starts to seem way more attractive to mature adult women (23+).

I think a lot of the appeal with pretty boys is that women generally don't view themselves as women but as 'girls' with the childishness to match. most women in their 20s don't prefer young emasculated prettyboy twig chads this is what middle school and high school girls prefer. When I was in uni 2 years ago all the women were chasing masculine tall chads but not too hypermasculine. Even when they were dating a orettyboy type they would regularly cheat on him with a jock. Yes, dating prettyboys and having romantic attraction is great but women have 2 parts lust and love. The raw sexual feeling unfortunately they only get from a masculine chad type who gets them wet and makes them feel submissive. A prettyboy is more like their bff who looks so good that they enjoy kissing him but doesn't necessarily turn on those buttons which makes them soaking wet. It's the reality of how complex relationships and dating is for women.

Nothing is wrong, their's just so some much denial that women care for looks. All we're doing is giving all possible evidence, science facts of what, when, where, why women are like this, and personal opinions why this fairy tale of women mostly going for personality is a load of BS. I must mention because if I don't I know you'll say it just like everyone else assumes not matter how many times we explain it. We are not denying personality matters or any other traits but we are dismissing the fantacy that people tend to believe that guys can get away with getting a girlfriend/wife or s*x easily by just relying on personality alone. There's a few a reasons other than personal attraction why a women dates or marry a man but people believe it's just a guy's personality, confidence "character" in general. Reasons why women date, have s*x, or marry a guy is due 1) Status/Money "can be in the same category" or provision of some kind in exchange, 2) Help ex. single mom. Although some want to be independent they give up their ego to "make their life easier". 3) Heart broken so they "want to be healed by getting more validation from any guy", or 4) Simply cope with the options their is simply because there aren't enough good looking guys for each women and besides no person wants to be alone so it's a take it or leave it situation, some women rather remain single instead of accepting their options which according to them their is low quality men out there without looking at the mirror to judge for themselfs.

Many birth control pills have ethinylestradiol as the pain estrogenic ingredient. Even in doses of 20-35 mcg, let alone the older 50 mcg varieties the estrogenic potency is large. What's more in modern combined pills its given for on a 24/28 day cycle and not just in the follicular phase(first 14 days or so) so the estrogen challenge is high although antagonised by the progestin(depending on type) given over the same period. Hormonal contraception is Aldous Huxley's " pregnancy substitute' in Brave New World. The thinking of women on the pill is more akin to those who are pregnant. Once impregnated they don't have the desire for the hot 'Chad" to do it to them so they can sit back and chose more ethereal men.

Analyzing men is far more simple. It goes like this: -Not being fat, the most important thing. If you are fat is already a no for 99% of men. -Pretty Face. If there is no pretty face, it's over. That means good facial features, nice hair and skin. -Good Body (curves, tits, ass) A girl with a pretty face and a skinny body will have as much success as one with a gym body or with big ass/tits, for real. Althought a man will ALWAYS prefer a girl with the attributes of Kate Upton, not having them is NOT a turn off. Is more like a plus thing to have. Yeah, we men are more simple. As long as you are pretty, not fat, and have a good, empathic, non-degenerate and femenine personality, you are in. By the way, tattoos are a HUGE turn off to MOST guys, I don't understand why women get them, they look like shit. Is like making a dumb drawing on a marble statue, nonsense.

@@arturoroldan4839 I agree completely with this, as a woman with many guy friends. BUT there are a lot of men who don’t care too much about faces. Mostly low quality type men (& especially r strategists) who only care about sex.

Pretty boys are popular with teenage girls till their very early 20s and then they prefer more traditionally masculine men. It’s been that way since at least Elvis and the advent of TV and marketing to teen girls. Pretty boys also do not stay pretty. By their mid 20s their necks and their faces thicken and they become more masculinization. Look at Leo in Titanic compared to Gangs of New York. And I say all this is a former “Pretty Boy”. I’m 56 now but from the age of about 16-23 I could do no wrong with girls. As soon as I got more masculinized the interest became less and less. And as the women aged they became more interested in my status and money. My point is that the pretty boy shelf life is very short lived.

This don't apply to asian pretty boys as they have longer shelf life. Also if you're 56 and hitting on 23 and under, you be judged by society as a creepy groomer.

@@FreeloadingBird2584 Yes that's why past a certain age it is pretty much over. You're choices pretty much narrows down to single moms, widows or battle hardened and jaded females from many past relationships. You'll never have genuine attraction from a young female in its prime, even if you do she's either in it for the money or have some daddy issues and wants to vent on you. Not to mention the potential pressure from family, friends and society to stay away from you because of the age gap even if you have genuine good intentions.

I didn't watch the whole video yet but in some parts of Europe and most parts of of east Asia the pretty boy look has always been the ideal appearance to attract most women, it's only places in the US, Mexico, and I think UK where pretty boy's are ridiculed for looking too feminine.....

Yeah, pretty funny that pretty boy gets called a fad when it's seen as the ideal for centuries if not millenia in many/most cultures. For example, the bishonen concept has roots in ancient Japanese literature.
