The amount of talent on this roster is pretty crazy. No one touches TSJ, but top-to-bottom, this year's team is definitely more talented than last year's squad. And we are obligated to state that it doesn't mean this team is going to be better than last year's team. But you've got 10 guys who could start for 100+ teams. Maybe 200+? 🤔
@nickpeacock18965 ай бұрын
Riley is the highest ranked player we’ve ever had commit. He might not TSJ from day 1, but they’re saying the guard from Lithuania is a 1st draft pick.

The only thing I feel certain about is Brad Underwood is going to play the guys he thinks gives him the best chance of winning. If any player thinks they're entitled to floor time on an Underwood team, they're coming to the wrong program.

Kasparas coming off the bench is crazy. He’s gotta start. Boswell Kas Riley Morez Ivisic Or Tre/Ty instead of Ivisic if you want to play small ball.

It will likely sort itself out come November. There is also a good chance that Brad is able to run with the hot hand/matchup on a game-to-game basis. It's not the worst thing in the world to be able to play (in theory) 8 or 9 guys 20+ minutes a game instead of relying on 3 guys playing 35+. It will be fascinating to see unfold.

Great take and I genuinely think that can help them look at UConn winning b2b they were able to play 8/10 players a game n ride the hot hand. I mite b making a crazy comparison but it’s similar in my eyes

@@chrisshort6966 like I said, I think there will be multiple different starting lineups throughout the season and Ty very well may be in one of them, all of them or none of them. If he can be a wing defensively and always have 4 shooters around him offensively then I like his chances

I like the lineup of Bos, Riley, Tre, Ben, and Morez. Lot of scoring potential there. Then off the bench you can play ty and tommy together in the second unit. Eliminates putting the 5 on ty with a big that can shoot. Then KJ backup the 1 DGL backup 2 ty backup 3 booth backup 4 and tommy v backup 5. That's a lot of talent on both lines
@UR_Right245 ай бұрын
No. Should be Boz, KJ, Riley, Hum, and Tom (or) that same lineup but put Morez at the 4 instead of Hum. No way a 6'9 freshman Morez starts at the 5 over a more experienced 7'1 Tom, and no way Tre is on a starting rotation if they get Riley. Hum is better than Tre anyway.
@nickpeacock18965 ай бұрын
I agree that Kas, Boswell and Riley should be shoe ins to start. I like Morez at the 4 due to his athleticism along with Ivisic at the 5. Brad likes to go small ball so I could see him starting Morez at the 5 and Tre or Ben at the 4.

I am interested to see how this all works out. I think based on reports, Boswell and Morez Johnson are probably for sure shoe-ins for the starting lineup. Then, beyond that, it could be some combo of Kasparas, Humrichous, Ty Rodgers, and/or Riley if he does indeed commit. I don't think Ivisc will be starting. I just hope DGL doesn't get lost in the shuffle and gets a fair opportunity. I want that kid to succeed as much as anyone else on this roster aside from Ty Rodgers

@@markwalters6964 Morez apparently has an insane motor. I'm not sure about Ivisic but his brother Big Z didn't even start and Big Z is supposedly a bit better so I don't care how old Tomislav is b/c Morez is already built like a junior
@markwalters69645 ай бұрын
@@snapon29 Morez isn’t nearly as skilled or as big. He certainly has a motor, but that’s not enough to start in this league. Ivisic is more skilled than his brother but doesn’t have as high of a ceiling. Ivisic will match up with all the other bigs in the league and there’s a lot of them. He’s your starting center.
