I listened to Des Shipp say Will Raison is “on another Planet, best angler in the world” it was a quality interview from Des, and has brought me to this channel. Also quality! Salute 🫡 massive respect to Will, thank you for the insights

What a superbly informative video! Brilliantly conveys the need to be accurate and patient on bites especially as the temperature drops. Some of those liners would have triggered me into picking the rod up, and I'd have most likely buggered the swim up. 12/10 for this video, it's that good, and shows exactly why Mr Raison is an elite angler.

Hello Will thanks for all your help over the years l need to pass on some information about wintermethod feederfishing on the days when nobody can get a bite a method that I have used is to cook up a small amount of wheat after it has been soaked. Tackle up a thick wire size 18 hook. Prepare micros in the normal way and add the wheat and dead flourish at the rate of tree or in the feeder every cast.Usins two pinkies on the micro band or a grain of wheat you start catching fish from nowhere

Great bomb fishing instructional video. What is the landing net type and size?
@roryt97512 жыл бұрын
By the looks of it that’s a Daiwa Tournament commercial carp keepnet. They come in lengths of 2.5 mtr and 3 mtr or a fast flow option of 3.5 mtr you can find them readily available on eBay.
@stevepaco0072 жыл бұрын
@@roryt9751 Hi Rory, thanks but do you know what the landing net is ?
@roryt97512 жыл бұрын
@@stevepaco007 no problem mate, again it looks very much like a Daiwa Tournament landing net, as far as size goes I’m not sure I’m afraid. I would imagine it’s also a Daiwa Tournament landing net handle he’s using in this video as well. Hope that’s of some help to you. Tight lines! 👍🏼

@matthewbrown567726 күн бұрын
Will if you are using a S/leader that's on the bottom the liners you are seeing the fish must be closer ....because carp will follow warm winds.

Well I learnt a few things. Firstly I always thought a bright bait in coloured water so the fish can see it but Will says a bright bait in clear water. 🤯
@robertwren8878 Жыл бұрын
I just wonder why will was getting liners when he believed his florocarbon was laying flat on the bottom? Also why go past his feed when he could have tried to the left and right of the feed? Backing off doesn't mean going further and beyond it also means closer to you! I believe in this situation it's worth putting on a 3 feet hooklentgh or more as the fish watch it falling,worth noting also is they pick up and move off and return and in this situation with gaps in time I believe this was the case.
@mikefrench35742 жыл бұрын
It is a great video, really informative, loads of great little tips that will make a massive difference. Unfortunately largely ruined as a piece to relax and view by the adverts every few minutes. Appreciate you want to monitize things like this but one at the start, middle and end would have been OK - 10 or so through an hour means I'm less likely to watch these in the future.
@matchfishingmagazine2 жыл бұрын
Without some kind of revenue these cannot happen as free to view videos - we could create a PPV section to the channel with no adverts if the majority would prefer that?
@mikefrench35742 жыл бұрын
@@matchfishingmagazine My point was it needs a balance. 3-4 Ads in an hour doesn't disrupt the video but 8-10 pretty much destroys it as a viewing experience. I happily pay for Winning Ways and have done since inception because the content is worthwhile and I'd suggest this Will Raison series is as well - Rich uses ads in their open-to-view videos but has the balance right on those....
@jameswright75902 жыл бұрын
5 seconds then you can skip a couple of ads. Why the need for a unnecessary comment? If you haven’t got patience, pay for KZbin Premium.

@@jameswright7590 It's constructive feedback, and if it was "a couple of ads" then it wouldn't have been an issue.

While I do love this film, what is the obsession with keeping fish in nets, rather than putting them back right away?
@paulstaniford86222 жыл бұрын
Imagine this film maybe part of a live feature they are doing for the magazine so they needed some catch shots for the magazine article. Weather seems more mild so oxygen levels would have been checked otherwise they wouldn’t have allowed keepnets.
