It's nice watching an interview where 2 people wanna hear what each other have to say for a change. No talking over each other, just a respectful conversation

Not sure how long you’ve been watching the show but Will has been one of his active mentors for a while, like since the beginning….I think you’re picking up on how their close relationship shows with how comfortable the conversation is

I like trevors Interview style. It's more of a discussion and especially the interviewee has to deal with someone who actually has read that book and does intelligent follow up questions.

Trevor Noah is brilliant. I really enjoy watching him interview people- he listens and asks smart questions. And manages to keep the person he's interviewing engaged and comfortable. Great interview, nailed it.

I always respect the fact that Trevor Noah takes the time to read the guests books. They are many an interview he gives a synopsis of the book in as a preface to the first question. Respect.

@@williamthatsmyname That's probably true for most late night hosts (and the ones I watch are usually are very transparent about it), but Trevor is different. I think it was in his book 'Born a crime' where he mentioned how much of a bookworm he is. He just eats up books that quickly. And it really shows, the way he talks about the books sounds like someone who paid attention and read it all and not like someone who got a summary and highlights, that just wouldn't cut it.

Watching Trevor work, one sees a perfect blend of nature and nurture. Patricia did a great job in raising a respectful son/man yet Trevor's skills at engaging with his guests speaks volumes about his intellectual acumen and hours of preparation to know his stuff. As someone who, at 37, only just this year spoke to his parents about long-term mental health issues that have been ongoing for 25+ years, who thought HE was late to the conversation, hearing what Will said about being 52 and talking to his mom for the first time about his dad's abuse gave me chills and made me feel a little bit lighter inside.

I felt this in my bones. I will be 37 in a few months, and I have yet to have that conversation with my parents. It needs to be said, but I don’t know if I will ever have the courage to say it.

@@comfortbrown913 write it out first and describe what you saw and how it made you feel then and how it affects you now. That’s how I approached it with my parents. It helped me to 1) not be so angry when speaking to them and 2) keep focus even through my tears. Peace and blessings. You got this. ✌🏾❤️🙏🏾

I love how Trevor questions his guest on the show about their purpose and motivation for their work and not just gives it hype. After the interview, you know if their work offers you a resonating personal experience or struggle. You'll discover if it's worth your time and money.

Wow , incredible. I think you got will to talk about stuff i hadn't heard him say before, he even seemed to really tense up a bit talking about purifying. Stewart picked an absolute CLASS ACT winner for his successor. Show looks great too, comfy, different, classy, stylish and modern but still warm and inviting.

I just finished watching Best Shape of My Life and, as if I needed any more reasons to love this man, I have a whole new appreciation and respect for Will. Calling him a celebrity doesn't even feel right considering how down-to-earth and humble he is. He's the realest person in Hollywood

The reason why Trevor's interviews are so interesting and successful is because he has already studied the material. He has an insight into the person not only so that he can ask the right questions but the right FOLLOW UP questions. He also listens just like Graham Norton. Take note Oprah

What I really love in Will Smith is that he is obviously successful and wealthy. But he shows us that life, love and the rest are and will still be difficult. And we need to build our character against that. Its a valued lesson.

This was a solid (quality) interview! Will is a human being and he wants the world to know it. We put people on pedestals and when they show their flaws, we become irate and berate them. I wish we would do what the adage says 'do unto others as you would have them do unto you'. Perhaps, we would treat others with honor as commanded by our Creator, Jehovah.

I know Trevor is funny and all that, but he is hands down one of the best interviewers on the planet. He does extensive research, but also listens closely to his interviewees and asks great questions based on their answers.

Someone who has been making fun of his wife for 2 decades made an unscripted joke about her medical condition. Notice that Chris is finally keeping Jada's name out of his mouth. He references the slap, but he won't dare say anything crazy about Jada again. Chris Rock is trash, he has been begging for that slap for years.

This man's longevity on screen is because of the soulful movies he plays in and how he embodies and the connection he has with the character as well as the respect and commitment he puts in the role he is playing is beyond phenomenal 🙏🙏🙏 .. Man what an interview!! I love these two and Trev and Will are legends in their own way! Will is an Icon of all of our childhoods and Trevor is literally becoming one of the best and most respected host in the world while still being one of the funniest comedians.
