Same here. He's gone now, since 2019. I haven't spoken to him for 10 years, but I did go to his last goodbye and cremation. I said my goodbyes a long time ago. But since his passing I hit a new path of letting go of the bad things and remembering the good things. They go together and makes it a bit messed up sometimes. Like a acrobats cord I am walking on. Constantly thinking should I grieve, but I haven't spoken to him for the last years, that was just for selfprotection. I wish you strentgh and wisdom. Do everything in your own time on your terms.

Will is grieving for his Dad who died in 2016 and reflecting on the masks he wore throughout his life to hide his pain - which he talks about in his book. If you look closely at his body language in the interview, there is a point where he becomes aware of the audience and begins to 'entertain' them. I think I am sad that he cannot be at peace in his healing and move out from the spotlight to do so and put the "entertainment' aside to honour himself with grace. There are other ways to market the book. He's Will Smith!!

It's amazing how long I've been a fan of Will. The Fresh Prince Jazzy Jeff songs and videos back in 80's when I was a kid. Then the Bel Air show. And then his Hollywood movies. He seems humble and without a doubt a class act.

He's done nothing for Philadelphia or the neighborhoods he grew up in: Overbrook or Wynnfield when he could by just showing up sometime. He's good at what he does and deserves his success though.

Will Smith, for decades, cultivated a wholesome image that went back to the 80's. His biggest mistake is not who he is
