I have always liked Will Smith. I have always like Chris Rock. But that slap was something else. To do that in front of all those people was cowardly, especially in front of all those people. He knew Chris would be stunned and the way he walked away from it was telling. He did not try to further punch him or engage in more violence. He wanted to humiliate him, and he did. Now, he is trying to make it look like he is the victim here. Yes, he is paying for his own actions. I'm sure his life has really gone downhill. No doubt that has been tough for him. But to say that in any way his childhood played a part in what he did to Chris is Will not taking personal responsibility for what he did.
