Will’s not saying anything new. He did indeed talk about it before and in his book too. I don’t think he’s trying to garner sympathy, I think we’re passed that point. But obviously other people still aren’t over what he did, because now every little thing is a trigger including this LOL. I think it’s a little unfair to call the kids weird though because if you actually ever listened to them and saw what they were about you’d see they’re really intelligent and compassionate people. Jaden started his water brand to help the people of Flint who were STILL without water. I’ve learned to not judge what looks different and try to meet people where they are.

I will say-I don’t have too much of an issue with him speaking about such things, even at the frequency he does it with. My absolute favorite artist, Whitney Houston, didn’t truly open up about the struggles of herself and her family until three years before her death, all the while doing her best to keep up this image of perfection for 20+ years, and we can see how it broke her.

What’s interesting about the Smith fam, specifically Will and Jada, is that we were soooooooo in their business. Rumors for decades about an open marriage, Will possibly being gay. And since THEY started sharing, it’s like nah. Love or hate it, they’re open and out there about their family troubles. I think the only misstep was doing the entanglement Red Table Talk and slap. It’s more about us than them. We’ve been obsessed about them for 20+ yrs

i have said this many many many years ago about this and for any parents to try to shape their kids into what they want them to be. My ex tried to do the same thing by trying to make him play basketball when he didn't want to play and wanted to do something else and i repeatedly told her to let him make the decision about what he wants to do and it cost her. the only thing a kid needs is love and hugs. ant to explain to them about whats right and wrong in life to make better life decisions. ive always said the reason most kids have mental issues is because of their parents. Britney spears is no different

I completely understand. I work at an all boys boarding school (for now). Most of the boys do not want to be there. I wish their parents listened to them. Most seem miserable, a lot have behavioral issues and most importantly there are SO many signs of racism there. Idk how or why the parents send their boys there.

I think his oldest son Tre is non problematic, I really enjoyed Willow’s music, and Jayden community initiatives are impressive. The parents presented themselves and their family as something they were not behind close doors. To hear that they gave their minor children psychedelics and your mom and friend had an affair, I sorry I am not upset with the children speak their truth. The Kardashian/Jenners get a pass because they are white passing and so many a average woman want to be like them because their looks are attainable. I have seen Kim Kardashian clones in every race, ethnicity, and size.
