While I agree the prem is the most competitive league in the world that barca arsenal stat actually shows that la liga is more competitive. Because if arsenal are 5th and barca are 1st with equal points it means there are 4 teams in the prem battering teams outside the top 5 whereas la liga is much more even across the league in its entirety. The small teams in la liga are performing better than the small teams in the prem and as a result the top side has far less points in la liga than in the prem.

Nah fam, think about it this way, how many times over the last previous decades have barca and/or real have ran away with the title with a huge gap to the 3rd or 4th place teams in the league? This season is hella misleading cause its the first in a long ass time we're actually seeing BOTH teams struggling in la liga. When this type of flukey shit last happened in the prem, leicester ended up winning the league, whereas in la liga if both barca and real struggle only atletico or maybe possibly sevilla this season (still think highly unlikely) have a somewhat genuine shot at the title. Therefore la liga is not even remotely close to the prem in terms of competiitiveness.

Maybe it's because the quality of the top 6 this season is better than ever. Spurs have had their best start to a season ever and their 4th. Usually a team runs away with it let's be honest or Real Madrid and Barca stay neck and neck.
