The day when Klopp came in to our club, I celebrated like it was my birthday, and when he leaves I will cry like its a funeral, and when he does leave I would love to see Gerrard as our manager but I just hope because Gerrard is a club legend, that we dont just rush him into it, unless he is absolutely ready and we really think carefully about who to appoint, but I would love to see Gerrard as our manager when Klopp is done!

I’m a Liverpool and Klopp has said multiple times that he needs a break from coaching in a couple of years. He’ll stay for 3/4 years probably and then take a break from all coaching. It’s because the way he coaches is exhausting. Klopp won’t be here for ever you know.

Look, just because Steven Gerrard was a great player for Liverpool it doesn’t give him the right to be their next manager. He has to prove it first, he has done reasonably well at Rangers but let’s be honest as crap as Celtic have been this season they were just as bad last season but he couldn’t finish above them. He has to deliver. He has the chance to finish above them this year (which now looks likely) but he should really have done so last year as well when they were diabolical. In order for Liverpool to progress after Juergen Klopp leaves them, they have to look at established managers who have done it & have proven that they can potentially achieve greatly. A name Liverpool could look at for their next manager is Julian Nagelsmann. Despite Leipzig getting the moneybags reputation due to their owners, he barely spent anything, and he got them to the Champions League semi finals, they finished 3rd in the Bundesliga & they play good attacking football. Don’t forget his work at Hoffenheim either when he got them to the Champions League qualification stage.

Gerard is a legend..but he still has a long way to go yet before managing LFC. Probably 1 or 2 clubs in the premiership before we can start talking about him as lfc Manager. Plus Klopp is still in his early years, we need him to create a great foundation in the club. So far, just amazing.👍👍

He's already a manager. It would be a step backwards. You need to be in the drivers seat to learn how to drive properly. Plus, Klopp is the main man at Liverpool. He runs the modern boot room. Having a character like Steven Gerrard there would just confuse things. Klopp said in an interview that "he always helps him(Gerrard) when he can". That probably involves a fair bit of advice/lessons, anyway. So the current situation is the best of both worlds, imo.

If he did, he should be learning what Klopp and Michael Edwards team are doing at the club first hand, instead of learning a different way at the rangers. It's a lot more than just making the players good. But also spotting good talent, building up youth, seeing whats undervalued and purging whats over valued. There's more aspects to this, Klopp's philosophy and Michael Edwards analytics are the perfect mix that's helped liverpool resurge to a team thats better than its ever been and most importantly make phenomenal financial decisions that helped finance Van Dijk and Becker into Liverpool. But this is just me, it's all economic theory in the end.

I'd rather Pep Lijnders become the eventual successor to Klopp. As Klopp's number 2, Pep would have much more of an understanding about what would be needed to continue in the way klopp has moulded this team. I think a new manager (Gerrard included) from outside the current backroom staff would cause too much disruption, where I believe Pep would just continue from where Klopp left off.

Personally I think he will, but at the moment Klopp is doing ok to say the least. A Gerrard return at least at some stage I think is perhaps the worst kept secret in football, ONLY AT SOME STAGE THOUGH. Klopp would have to leave at his own accord. I can see him at Liverpool beyond 60, unless he decides to take a brake.

Steven Gerrard is my all time favourite Liverpool fc Player & I would love for him to one day become the manager (But realistically he needs more time managing a couple more BIG Clubs & mature in himself so he’s not just liked he’s loved from every position I.e the players the staff down to the kitchen staff and groundskeeper!) Gerrard going to Liverpool would be a diseaster at this stage. Liverpool need proven quality and not a wannabe Klopp. Gerrard has to prove himself before getting near the Liverpool job.

Firsr of all I hope Klop stays for as long as possible,he has transformed us altogether but if he left and Gerrard took over,would Gerrard ever get credit for any success we would get or would people say "he's took over Klops team?!?",he can't win either way.
