Being to lead to find her was definitely not an accident-they were literally lead by unseen help. She deserves justice and her daughters deserve to know the truth about their father as they’ve acted like he could do no wrong… this is just so tragic and will be very a very traumatic, rude awakening for them.

The problem is that there was DNA from a serial rapist in her car and now her body is found in an area where they are looking for another body of a missing woman. There also is no evidence so far that Barry visited Moffat where Suzanne's body was found. So in some ways this may make it more difficult for the prosecution.

Food for thought, Colorado mountains where I live would be cool and dry. A body would decompose very differently than say, a Florida swamp (ie. Brian Laundry.) Obviously a body will decompose naturally over three years, but trace evidence could easily be preserved. There are places up here that have snow on the ground almost year round. Not an expert, but the thought occurred to me when I felt discouraged at how long it had been. Think of ancient artifacts found preserved in glaciers vs. those found in jungle environments. Dry, Freezing temps can almost stop time, so to speak. (Irrelevant fun fact- Saguache: ‘Blue Earth’ originally named by the Ute Native Americans, Sa-qua-qua-chi-pa.) Edit Note: This is also the same county the Great Sand Dunes are in. I’ll be interested to hear more specifics about her location.

The area where her body was found is a huge, sprawling, very rural valley at an elevation of about 7000 feet above sea level. The weather can be harsh and very few people wander around the landscape. It's a perfect area to dump a body, especially at night.
