Yeah those catfish can be hell sometimes! They were really bad last year in one of my tarpon holes! A 12 inch mullet wouldn't last five minutes sometimes! But like you said at least you didn't get skunked! I know you and Icy will get on em soon enough! Keep up the good work Jim and we'll catch you on the next one!

Icy was saying today that some gafftopsail would have been nice to catch. It was a s-l-o-w day out there on the water.

Right at the beginning when you said “ah shoot” I knew immediately what you caught lol 😆 thankfully it wasn’t as windy as the last trip you took, glad it’s starting to calm down a bit

Yeah, I suppose that comment really expressed my sentiments as well as the catch. The winds do seem to be cooperating more here lately. It won't be long before we're into the wet season and light winds.

Well you were catching at least 👍😊 That last camera view was cool; how long of a pole did you have for that shot? The winds have been rippin up here. I went down the Mosquito Lagoon this past Friday with Bubba Outdoors and finally got my first Snook. It was such a good day I caught 3 nice sized ones. I can finally mark that off my list. Tight lines 🎣

WHAT, you were supposed to catch that snook down here! I've been waiting for you to get down here! Oh well.... Glad it worked out for you up there. I've never fished the Lagoon but hope to do so soon. On that camera angle.... I wanted something different and decided on an aerial view. The pole is about 8' off the deck.

@@GetOutTheHouseGoFish The invitation still stands. While that day started out slow (Icy's video), it ended up being a fantastic day. There is so much footage from that trip that I'm still trying to get my head around it all. I'll get is posted up soon.

Thanks, Wayn. Very true, and I did learn that the first location I tried apparently doesn't hold anything but catfish!
