DGPT brought us the "new and improved" Dynamic Discs Open but does the pro tour actually need to change this? With incredibly low spectatorship and seemingly low viewers, the entire event felt almost as lackluster as last year.

Ayy! Thanks for the shoutout! Happy with the finish and a solid building block! Figured something major out for the last 2 rounds that I'm excited to take into this big stretch of tournaments over the next 2 months! My vids about the weekend will be coming out soon, but managing expectations and shooting for a top 75 was the main goal and even though I left SO much out there I'm proud of the finish!

I find the comments about lack of spectators strange. Being there, it seemed like there were quite a lot of people there. Maybe it was just that the great majority were following the lead card? I couldn't tell you, but the portrayal that there wasn't anybody there is very misleading.

Calvins actually been throwing forehands the last two tourneys. Granted, mostly just up shots and nothing over 250' but that's all he really needs given he's one of the best backhand driver throwers of all time. Yes Weatherman certainly looked like the best player out there on Sunday. Hailey King's up shots were borderline atrocious all weekend and Missy was just meh. Without the Europeans there the FPO is a shell of what it should be. Do you really want to see Buhr win? He's such a chode, and I think ppl are pretty much done with his slow play. Dude needs a marshal on his ass from throw one making sure he's penalized for every time violation until he can start playing by the rules. Thanks for the content!

A golf course with plenty of room for spectators but not a lot of spectators attending. I wonder I how many spectators spectates a DeLaVega got when they hosted a pro tour?

This event 100 percent needs to be in KC! Played at bad rocks or black hoof, KC natives won’t even drive to emporia to play let alone watch disc golf. And KC east west battle is a historic rivalry that needs spotlighted please

I think instead of bashing on open courses which are actually amazing and fun to play, lets work on the camera work, so viewers online can appreciate the flight. Get us out of the hyzer era also.

Completely agree. They say the main reason for the open courses is to attract more spectators but it obviously didn't work here. Give me heavy woods and thick rough any day. There are few things worse than manufactured O.B. with ropes everywhere. IMO the only OB that belongs on any course is water.

What sucks is when the baskets are completely out in the open and after a few yrs now of watching, all the holes are basically the same week to week, outside last weeks only real Pro course.

LOL, I somehow stumbled upon that Trackmania vids a few days ago and it has been entertaining. As for DG, the tour needs to have a week off after the majors. There was no energy from the booth, players or the course it was so boring. The FPO IMO was unwatchable and the play was very meh. If Kristin or the other missing EU players were here, they would have easily been pushing for the W. And The course is just a golf course with a few interesting holes that needs a lot more trees.
