Can some one explain why they are in hell if they lived in a time of jahiliyya and no messenger came to them? If they were to follow to religion of Ibrahim AS, did they recieve the uncorrupt message with proofs and evidences? Unfortunately lot of heated debate in the comments. The truth is that we don’t know if parents of prophet sw are in heaven or hell. There is nothing explicit in Quran or Hadith. The Hadith that is being quoted about prophet sw saying that his father is in hell; that Hadith has been interpreted by some scholars as referring to Abu talib due to the Arabic word used. There is nothing explicit about his mother. We can derive our conclusions from the Hadith but it’s not explicit. So, we don’t know. It definitely is not a fundamental principle of Islam that some people claim it to be.

Murra ibn ka'b Was a direct descendant of prophet ibraheem. Murra ibn ka'b is considered to be the first of the founders and leader of the Makkans- Quraysh! The religion of his era was Islam that of Ibraheem's era. Exact same message as the previous Prophets. Musa, essa and so forth. What happens after Murra ibn ka'b's time? The religion gets corrupted? (Idol worship, evil spreads, innovations etc etc) The Makkans have lost their ways. But obviously a minor of the makkans still hold onto and believe in the tawheed of ALLAH. From the era of Ibraheem. But a majority of the Makkans, and Even the rest of the world have fallen into darkness. My point being - only ALLAH Knows the fate of Amina bint wahab. If you were to read the Quran, you would see multiple times that Allah tells us he is the only God and how the people of the book (Jews and Christians) had their books corrupted and filled with lies along with some truth. Take a closer look at all three religions and try to see what they have in common. In the Quran you will find that the important people of the other religions ( Moses and Jesus) are mentioned in the Quran and this is Allah’s final revelation that he will reveal in this life. Also another important thing is looking into the signs of the hour. Some include the splitting of the moon, alcohol will be drank in large quantities, adultery will become widespread, and the feeling of time passing more quickly.

The Qur'an does not say any such this. Ibrahim AS asked Allah to bring forth a Ummah of believers from his descendents. Allah SWT certainly did answer this du'a. However, some Arabs (the descendents of Ibrahim AS) were Muslims (Muhammad SAW and his Sahaba RA) and some were not (Abu Jahl and others). No where did Allah SWT mention that ALL of Ibrahim AS's will be believers. And Allah SWT knows best.

In One of the hadeeth our Prophet pbuh said that he has came from the best of quresh families. If they all were kafir, how come he would have said best?

Sahih Muslim book 1 398 Anas reported, barely a person said messenger of Allah where is my father? He said he is in the hellfire. Attention: This is wrong explanation! In Sahih Muslim Hadith 203 the word used is Ab which means father or uncle. Arabs used to call their uncle Ab even in the time of prophet Ibrahim. Furthermore, for biological father they used the word walad not Ab, which confirms that prophet (PBUH) referenced his uncle in this hadith, not his biological father. Regarding prophet's beloved mother, the reason Allah SWT did not allow our beloved prophet to seek forgiveness for her because she was already forgiven therefore no forgiveness was necessary.
