Like this topic!!! I use toners specially after shaving!!!!.... great if you have sensitive skin. I layer the product 3 times and then just continue wit my spf... I choose always a non alcohol no essential oils or fragrance product. I have quite a few toners depending on the season. Mists are also a great option 😉

How can I convince my husband to give that a go? He swears that if he doesn't use an aftershave that is basically perfume and alcohol, he will get ingrown hairs, and he is not willing to try a soothing and hydrating toner instead. I am at my wits end here.

@@DoctorAnne Ha The old aftershave trick. It must work as it stings , also good for acne and spots or perhaps NOT .....😉 I used to get ingrown hairs around my neck but once I was introduced to chemical exfoliants a few years ago they disappeared. A couple of applications a week does the trick . I generally follow up my shave with a simple CosRX Centella water toner. It is light, non perfumed and calming. A couple of sprays does the trick.

I find toner nessacry I don't care what anyone says I'm a toner girl all the way and I love it and it's made the biggest impact in my skin. I love Korean skincare I find it to give me much more results then western skincare and it's cheaper I am definitely hooked on it.

I enjoy both - I stand by my Tretinoin, my Ascorbic Acid and all that, but I do enjoy the Korean products as supporting act, as they are so gentle and hydrating.

@@DoctorAnne I wish I had luck with trent I can't seem to get use to it I have tried and tried same with Vita C I can only use it like 3 times a week and my skin still is really sensitive to it it's like the older I get the more sensitive my skin is in my 20 s I could put anything on my skin frangerance ess oils all of it no problem never had acne not even in my teens then 30s hit and I noticed my self being very sensitive and prone to ance all the sudden.

Will have to try some of the toners you refommended! By the way, have you heard of numbuzin serum 3? 41 percent bifida and 21 percent galactomycces + niacinamide and HA, etc. its touted to be another affordable (i heard one girl say its even better) estee lauder ANR serum. Heard about it, but never cared to read or listen about it. Might give it a try as another step in my self care. Any drugstore toners (available in Germany) that you would recommend, too?

I am looking at Aveeno Face Calm + Restore Nourishing Soothing Toner... my skin is not super sensitive and Aveeno is not actually drugstore but it seems to be calling my name...

Anything that is hydrating and that you enjoy - I admit that I am not very experienced with German drugstore skincare despite it being right at my fingertips...
