every person telling you that you are too short for this bike probably do not ride at all . also, height is irrelevant what matters is inseam when it comes to seat height, a constructive criticism i'd give is that you could state your inseam rather than your height when talking about clearance, reach and foot position.

Hey Perry! A couple of questions 1.What it the handle bar Id?for installing bar end rvms... 2.How'd you get rid of the rear grab rail?
@ForeverARide4 жыл бұрын
Saurabh Unfortunately I have no knowledge of what these mirrors are or who makes them. I do know that the washers installed to make these fit prevented me from adding the old bar weights back on, so I’m kind of stuck with them for now. The rear grab handle comes of with four, (don’t quote me) T25 torque bits. It’s very easy to do.

@@ForeverARide You misunderstood, i should have been clearer,my bad, i meant the Internal Diameter of the handle bar, 22mm-which would fit most bikes- doesn't seem to work in this case, was hoping you knew the actual size?

Height is sort of irrelevant. I'm only 175cm but I have a 32 inch inseam and I can flat-foot this bike (well the Svartpilen but it's the same seat height). Weight matters to some degree as the bike will settle with heavier riders. I do like the look of this bike but I didn't want the clip-on lean.
@Partnerthedog Жыл бұрын
I'm 5 inches taller than you but I'm only 5 pounds heavier so for me the 401 isn't aggressive it's an upright position and I'm light enough to enjoy the power. Edit I also have long a** arms

Hey, a really nice and informative video, thanks! I have a question, and I'd really appreciate it if you could answer. I am 6'6 and 220lbs, do you think I would fit? Because I am 21, I am still on the A2 license because I am still too young for the A license (a law in my country). As far as I know it's the bike with the tallest seat height in the A2 license category so I don't really have much of an option. I'd go test it out but the closest dealer is 400km away.
@ForeverARide3 жыл бұрын
Hey, I think the bike will feel very narrow for you, as the seat provides minimal padding. But, if you are seriously considering it as your best option, you would have to sit on it before you buy, right? Not sure the seat height will translate to comfort necessarily. But I think you could still enjoy it!

@ForeverARide4 жыл бұрын
nalm Thanks! Good choice. The RF 1200 is a better helmet (snell, less noise) but also a bit old and I fear a new version will drop soon. I went with the glamster for the looks but also it’s dead light, very comfortable. Wish it had more ventilation. Just ordered earplugs to deal with the noise. Not highway riding so doesn’t bother me. Oh also, big pain in the ass: shoei hasn’t released the tinted lens yet. Very frustrating. And I hadn’t considered this before but if you put a tinted visor on, you loose the retro look because the shield covers the opening. Hope this helps. Good luck with the license, looking forward to videos from you soon.
