Wonder Woman is part of the trinity. She is definitely one of the most popular female heroines. I think alot of the minimization of her character in this video is crazy. This game was definitely announced before work was started. Id say 26 maybe late 25 for any news.

Not sure why there'd be a ton of hype for a game we haven't seen anything of yet, from a studio whose last game had problems and hasn't put anything out since 2017, featuring a character who doesn't map onto a killer game in very obvious or straightforward ways because she's a goddess with a lasso that forces people to tell the truth lol. If they show the game and there's still no hype, that might mean something. Until then, I imagine even people who might be interested are waiting to see what the game even is.

This game was announced the same time as either Spider-Man Miles Morales or Spider-Man2 I think, as you played the teaser it sparked the memory. I mean to the question, why should I care about it now when I know nothing about it? when they show stuff from it and it looks good, heck yeah I'll get excited, she's a great character and has tons of potential as a game. But we simply know nothing about the game so there's no reason to look forward to it

As someone that hates woke nonsense and genuinely believes companies like disney peddles wokey crap because they think it makes money, characters like wonder woman are great examples of actually cool female protagonists. There are plenty of good examples of cool, badass female characters, just also plenty of examples of super contrived ones. How will it limit things? Wonder Woman stories heavily focus on emotional connection, so the nemesis system sounds perfect for this game.

@@deshaunfortune912 but emotional connection comes with really strong directed writing. The more procedural generation model of the nemesis system means that the focus has to be on those rouge elements that are not as strictly curated. Lord of the rings orcs works because it’s a bunch of funny British guys who say ooy a bunch and can be mixed and matched while being apart of a larger group. Outside of the patent there is a reason other games did not try to mimick stuff like the nemesis system. It is very much a thing that works because of the setting it was put in.

​@chrisbroad2689 the reason no other game has used the nemesis system is bc WB patented it. Plenty of people have wanted to use it. With that said, I agree that some really strong writing is going to be necessary to make this work.

@chrisbroad2689 I'm not sure what you're asking. She has plenty of her own villains that this system could be used for. Also, I think you're stuck on the idea of the Nemesis System being the exact same as it is in the Shadows games. Who knows what changes they'll make to it to suit a Wonder Woman game.
