Horses really notice when their "routine" feeding time switches up or down! Creatures of habit! Their personalities are funny to watch. Nigel is hard to spoil.....probably had years of a hard life, and being treated good is hard for him to key into! Independent!!

I tell people all the time. You are the very best horse person on KZbin. Thank you for sharing. My daughters Gypsy Cob got sand colic the other day, my girl walked him all night. I told her how you washed the poop to see the sand. As much as she loves that big goober, she turned her nose up at that. Funny because, at my dad's ranch, I did the same thing with old poop and used the slurry on the roses. Made them bloom like crazy. Love you, dear. Kiss those goober of yours for me. Thanks

CC is great, but I would still advise you to check out 'Shelby Dennis' and 'Stable Horse Training' channels if you haven't already. They are not posting much as of late, but they have extensive backlogs of videos. 'Animal Cracker: Dr. Doug Willen' if you want to give animal chiropractic a try. He volunteers at horse rescues and does chiro on all animals big and small. I hope that you will enjoy their videos, but either way have a great day.

Sand Colic isn't a 1 time thing. It's a long-term condition and it has to be treated like CC did for Studman or the horse will die.

It instead I rolled out of the bed and landed on my left hip and the leg cramped! Getting up with a leg cramp in the middle of the night when you still are a bit groggy … and in the morning my back hurt like …. 😈🔥! Stinks to get old! 😫

I don't know anything about horse's just always thought they were so beautiful never saw what I would call an ugly horse 🐴 I love to watch them play and there beautiful wild side I have spent three weeks watching them on utube and I can tell you this I saw a million dollar horse with a mi dollar barn and it died it got something one of your horse's had you were checking the poop for and it was sad she had a little baby you would of thought with that kinda barn you would have an on duty vet . I have learned that for the most part the people that take the better care of there horse's are the ones that don't have big fancy barns thx for shearing

Sand Colic. The way CC treated Studman for Sand Colic is a lifesaver. It's not a short-term condition, and without the whole rigamarole of feeding the de-sanding mix, etc., the horse will die. It's sad that more horse owners don't know how to treat Sand Colic or learn from their veterinarian how to treat it.

You've got those horses looking good, girl. Some folks here in East Tennessee doesn't know how much work it takes to keep that many horses up. A lot of cattle people here. When there in need of something, they sell them off and buy more. Take care, God bless.
