My son is at an academy, we watch the kids, we see them perform, we, the parents, want our kid to succeed, but also want all of their friends to succeed. Cause that's what they are, the other kids in these programs become their friends, best friends, brothers/sisters. I'm sitting here watching a kid I've never met get cut, and I feel for him knowing that I'm going to see this with either my son, or his friends.
