Yeah, no. This is a Fisheye. A pure wide-angle lens will produce rectilinear images. This footage from the GoPro has a fisheye effect to achieve a wide field of view at the cost of major distortion.

I think its just his settings, I have the same Drone with the hero 4 Silver and it looks very natural. Wide angle but not fish-eye. He had a different setting or filter on the camera.

Agree. The DJI P3 Standard is on sale at places like Sams for prices below this and I think it's the better quadcopter. Personally I have the Yuneec Q500 4K and am absolutely blown away. Incredibly easy to fly, very stable, and the camera has provided me with excellent footage.

Yeah... not a thing. You'll be waiting a long time until you can have that. To carry a camera, power the motors, and carry the electronics requires a LOT of power. Most quads around fly for around 10-15 min, because of the strain on the battery. Can you even imagine how many hours it would take to charge a battery that would last an hour? Just buy a quadcopter that doesn't have this proprietary battery crap, and you'll find that batteries are quite cheap.

You guys are all wrong. Usually drones with gopro mounts are cheaper with a gopro than the equivalent built in camera gimble. Also, you can change if you want a fisheye effect on gopros lol. And a gopro is the only thing that's future proof about the drone. Unless you get a drone with an extremely high end camera you're almost better off going with a gopro since you'll be able to use the next models that come out for it.

Lol, I've been around since the early days of multirotors and remember when the DJI Naza Came out. Guess what, It sucked ass, and the APM, which is supported by 3DR was untouchable. Even to this day the Solo can't be touched by a phantom. I've always built my UASs but just bought a Solo, and it is amazing. But still, more DIY and less DJI, because if you're smart enough and not a lazy ass consumer, you can always build it better.
