Will This Plant Return to Life in 3 Hours?

According to the package, this plant will return to life in only three hours! It turns out this claim is completely true. However, the plant was alive the whole time.
Selaginella lepidophylla (aka the Dinosaur Plant) is a very unique plant. It's a desert plant, native to the Chihuahuan Desert, that is specialized in "returning to life." Basically this plant goes into a dehydrated state when exposed to dry conditions, until stimulated by water. With enough moisture the plant will return to its true form in about three hours time... Incredible!
I am fascinated by plants and this one is no exception. If you want to see more plant highlight videos, leave a comment below. I will choose ones that a lot of people like (assuming you liked this video).

this is also known as resurrection plant.. this kind of plant can easily survive in its dried state upto several years and just need water for returning back to life.. they are mostly found on rocks with some sort of moisture over there..they are not aquatic plants.if you wish to keep them for long time just place them over some moistury substarte where moisture remain always. their life after death is just a small example of our mother nature

@quercus. I think your referring to polytheism. Since Pagan was a derogatory term for polytheistic tradition, those that don't believe in God or believed in "false gods". Which many would argue would include all religiouss practice including Christian By definition. So it's not pagan belief that the Christmas celebration keeps alive, really not even polytheism either if you think about it. Considering the Christmas celebration was created in effort to end polytheistic tradition by replacing the winter solstice celebration Satranalia. It was actually pretty smart if you think about it. By Adapting the celebrations and traditions of pre-existing beliefs while demonizing there practice as evil, sorcery, black magic, or witchcraft punishable by death. Pretty convincing reasons to convert. Regardless most theist deny any polytheistic origin. Since admitting so would discredit the Christ narative they injected. Adding more evidence that likely all judeo-christian belief and tradition have been plagerized from previous beliefs and cultures weather Polytheistic, Zoroastrian, Buddhist, Egyptian or early nomadic hunter gatherers who painted the first known depictions of monotheistic belief on cave walls.
