Although Stargate is up in the air on Amazon right now, I think they will proceed as some time. In the meantime we can listen to our heroes speak at an Stargate AI event. Amazon take notice, Stargate fans love their legacy heroes, and any series going forward should include them as occasional guest stars at the very least. Or maybe make them mentors and teachers to a new Stargate cast.

It would be so great to have Stargate back for a 4th series from Brad Wright and co., featuring the original actors as regulars or as recurring guest stars, plus new characters. -- I wish Amazon would hurry up and get all the classic Stargate movies and series available on Amazon Prime Video again. They are still showing currently unavailable. -- Also, I wonder if our views on other services (Apple TV, any others) will help show Amazon that fans are still very interested in new Stargate.

A new beginning : All new adventures : new actors / actresses : Welcome to the brand new ** STARGATE HORIZONS ! Finally we will get to see a conclusion of the previous series of Stargate SG1, Stargate Atlantis Perhaps going to as many as 8 seasoms or possibly ten the same as SG1 originally did. As for Stargate Universe yes we really get to see what eventually happened to Eli Wallace and the crew of the Destihy and what happens will not only be highly entertaining but the very real possibility of seeing perhaps 5 seasons of SGU ( Stargate Universe ) or more would be very welcoming indeed ! 😀

I didn't care for universe back when it was coming out. too slow at the start especially when you had to wait a week between episodes. well I'm glad to say I finished binge watching it the other day and can honestly say I love it. it was ahead of it's time and the airing format didn't mesh well with the pace of the story. I feel like if it debuted now it would've been a hit

@@jrspringston We each have our own opinion and you have the right to your own, you may not care for universe there are alot of fans out there that do, in my own opinion universe deserves an appropriate next few seasons it left fans wondering what happened to the characters, did they survive and who were the aliens attacking them. Stargate itself has always been ahead of it's time and will always be number one on my list of series. With regard to a series being slow there's alot of series out there especially today that starts out a bit slow which builds up intrigue in some cases. There are also series out there that's too repetitive and Stargate is not one of them, for example Supernatural was an interesting concept and has had a really good fan base until they started killing off characters and bringing the characters back to life again and that went on for 15 seasons until they ended it. Stargate however has always had a consistent flow to it, started out as a movie expecting to go on as a movie franchise ending up as series which ended up having separate story lines within one big storyline.

SciTrek had reported that Amazon had recently fired many MGM employees, which worried him for them personally, but also for the future of Stargate or other potential genre shows. Any news on that? His conjecture was that Amazon would do it in-house with Amazon Studios, and whether or not Brad Wright or others who had been involved, still would be. Any news to confirm that, or to say what might be happening for Brad Wright, Stargate, the creative team, or the previous cast and any new cast? Or is it all still way too early? I expect they will make some kind of new Stargate at any rate.

What I really hope for (except for the original characters of course) in the revival, is to finally have more information about the Furlings (since they were only mentioned a few times but SG teams never traveled to one of their planets or met them… or even a flashback about them)! 🙏🏻🤞🏻🍀

Stargate, Farscape, Firefly, Babylon 5 are all excellent shows. They put a lot of heart and character into these shows. We just need good entertainment again. People need to have something to watch every week and to look forward to. I'm excited for the New Star Trek and the new actors playing the parts are superb. I just hope Amazon gets off there buts and does sitting with this IP and doesn't waste the opportunity.

Stargate forever! Hi, I’m big Fan of the show and I’m 24 and I think I watched all of it at least 15 Times back to back, not including re watching my favorite episodes and take off’s. takes me a 2 months 6 and a half days just to finish it all. (With sleep of course and work and school and day to day activities) No matter how or what they decide to proceed with StarGate, it’s the journey that got StarGate far! With these new technology’s that Earth has, it could open more galaxy’s to be Discovered. Like what if we discovered that a colony of Ancients left the galaxy after the plague almost killed all of them. The one who didn’t Ascend and founded other civilizations in other galaxy’s could have been a thing. With these new galaxy’s it could have it’s own problems with them. Like when we found Atlantis in the Pegasus galaxy had the Wraith. Keep in mind we found out about Atlantis because there was a relic that Raul had in his possession in Abydos. There could’ve been other cities that could have been built. Or Civilizations creating whole megastructures and whole galaxy control. Like With Destiny it was a mission to get to the edge of the universe and find out if there was Intelligence. We could see them discovering radical different life and intelligent life. With also getting destiny completely repaired and controlled. There could be so much more that they can do with StarGate and it was a shame to see it canceled. Everything about this show should make you excited, because it’s unlike anything that’s out there. Similarities yes but how the the story line is, is Perfect. I would love to see the masses finding out and Giving the team changes that has its unique challenges to over come. How ever they decide to do it and if they want to continue to open up the universe to us with the charms of the actors, I would love it. I hope they go big and long with it!! Just Please Have it be as big as StarTrek and Star Wars and get people excited to the possibilities of human Ingenuity and discovery! Thank you for your time reading! 😊

Cautiously optimistic. Amazon productions have been a mixed bag. Ranging from great "Reacher" "Bosch", to bad "Wheel of Time" to a better sleep aid than Ambien "Rings of Power" That Brad Wright is involved does give me hope that Stargate would wind up on the good side.

The eyes glowing blue is more likely an Anunnaki reference if I had to guess. There are many, many things that I enjoyed about Stargate. A few I was puzzled by. One at the top of my list is why, oh why, did the writers kill off the Asgard? Stargate Command had time travel technology; they could have had the Asgardians go with them back in time to acquire the genetic material required to save themselves. Ignoring this seemed horrible. It was like, "Who cares if this ancient race dies out? Look at all the neat technology we now have because of it!" IMHO mind you. It is one of the items I would like to see resolved. Save for the Tok'ra. They could have rescued their queen (although why couldn't the female Tok'ra produce young with the same values?) The fate of the crew of Destiny, what happened to Atlantis (it couldn't just sit where it was) and yeah, it seems unlikely the Goa'uld would just sit back and die out, so making a dramatic comeback would be interesting. By dramatic, I mean perhaps like some serious evil gods deceptive enough to even fool the viewers! I mean, where is Quetzalcoatl, Inti, Viracocha, Jurpari, and so on? Expanding on these myths would bring a whole new dynamic, especially if these Goa'uld had even higher technology. Imagine a winged Goa'uld that did not need a host! Perhaps this one has cybernetic implants to enhance itself and loathes the very notion of joining alien bodies but prefers to follow a path of purity that goes along with a superior ego. Here enters Quetzalcoatl! The real deal and with far more generosity towards humans like Yu had. Perhaps for its own gain, as Quetzalcoatl perhaps plays long games? Just a thought I would like to see played out, after all this worked in my own writings, I did with the role-playing game I ran. It really messed up my player's perception of what they understood Stargate myths to be like.

I would love to see Stargate come back for new adventures but i don't trust Amazon for one bit, nor do i trust any current studio to deliver that what we crave the most. If it comes back i hope they don't give it the J.J. Abrams Star trek, Disney Star Wars, Halo, Lord of the Rings/The Rings of Power, House Targaryan/GOT, or Marvel post Endgame treatment. Lets hope for the best!

if they could sift through some old footage and cut it into a new episode that does something with time travel and then the new shot series takes over, that would be amazing, actual time traveling and not just some white hair make up and fake wrinkles but actual older actors in the same characters. Shame nobody prepared footage 15 years ago for that opportunity. Some un aired episode where they left space for future older actors playing the part in the time traveled timeline.

I just binge watched Stargate universe. I didn't care for it when it came out, and therefore only saw like 4 episodes. well after this binge I can honestly say I really like it. which is wild. I think it was ahead of it's time and also not what the fans were expecting. like a 3 piece reason for the reason it was dropped. dark with very little humor, not what fans were expecting, and the story didn't fit the "one episode per week" non-stream format

I hope AI script writing takes off. Looking at the dumbster fire that has become Disney, Marvel and Lukasfilm, AI script writing is the most likely way to actually produce somewhat resembling descent scripts nowadays. In an ideal world, i'd love more Stargate, but we live in a world where the likes of Disney's Star Wars and Star Trek Picard / STD exists (and amazon's upcoming Rings of Power, a real love letter to the spirit of Tolkien, I'm sure...) The last thing i want is for them to dig up the corpse of yet another beloved franchise just so they can use it to piss in the face of fans. SG-1 is too good for this modern clown world, let it keep it's dignity.
