The LX is basically the B2650 rebadged with minor differences. The salesman didn’t seem too informative about the tractors and the difference’s between them. He should get more informed about their products, it would be beneficial for everyone. Y’all will enjoy your tractor though! It will do quite a bit of work for its size. By the way, be sure to get those rear tires filled! I totally suggest RimGuard. Makes a huge difference in stability and traction.

I bought the BX and 2 things I wish id done was Get the tiller in the original financing (Sales Rep told me they rented them....) and I wish Id gotten the B series. The L series was slightly out of my price range and the salesman didn't even tell me about the B. Either way I love my little BX

@@bry8890 The BX series is also known as the “Swiss Army Knife” of compact tractors. They are capable of more than their size would suggest according to what I’ve seen. Don’t know how long you’ve had yours but there is a lot of BX videos on youtube showing them at work. Impressive little tractors!

My girlfriend and I (both from Maryland) just spent 2 weeks traveling the Deep South including 4 days in a few areas of Mississippi. We totally enjoyed our time in the state,..and at some point, we were probably close to your family. The more I see/read/watch what is going on in California and the West Coast I believe you made the right decision in moving because of your values. I hope you don't get too sentimental about ''Cali''because what I see on the news about that state is scary. And I am sure Mississippi doesn't encourage people to walk into Walgreens and steal $949 of merchandise and walk out without any concern.

You'll get a lotta use outta that Kubota and the FEL plus the other attachments. Dad had a 1966 4000 split grille gas tractor, he pulled a 3 bottom plow and 10 ft disc with it so a 5 footer shouldn't be a problem for a 3000. The Ford 2000-3000-4000 3 cylinder tractors were manufactured from 1965 to 1975, I believe they went to a one piece grille in 1969, yours both have the split grille. The headlights in the grille are unusual in the US, that one might be a UK or European tractor. Good old tractors! You can do a lot with them and like you said they'll hold their value. Y'all have fun with the tractors and enjoy the extra animals that are gonna show up too haha!

You’ll be operating that loader like the zero turn in no time. I know you’ve made a big investment but down the road I recommend a landscape rake either homemade or store bought. Thunder storms and ice storms down tree limbs here and after years of removing them by hand I built a landscape rake, saved a lot of backbreaking work and time. The tiller was a smart option. Remember Whitetail deer don’t like electric fences but like anything you grow in your garden. Take it slow and stay safe with you new guy toys.

That's a cool "little tractor". It being 4-wheel drive, if you fill the rear tires with water you'll be surprised what it can do. It will outdo those larger Ford 2-wheel drives at many things. That Ford 3000 with dual shifter 8-speed is the best one out of the two Fords, and if I were y'all I'd keep it to do all the bush-hogging with. Those are great old tractors and it will last MANY more years.

I have a old blue tractor as well. Mine is a farmtrac 435. Which looks the EXACT same as a ford 2600. And that B-bota will get the job done for discing foodplots, bush hogging fields and trails, and grading a driveway if y’all do that. I would recommend a tiller (if y’all consider one) tillers break WAY to easy to break if not used in soft ground with out rocks and small stumps. Tillers are also very slow moving. My dad can disc a the same food plot 3 times while somebody with the same width tiller and same size tractor can only do half of it. My dad has a Kubota (B-bota as we call it)MX5100 and we use it for every thing.

My neighbor has two tractors, one very old Ford, a big one, keeps his bush hog on it, and a newer smaller Mahindra or Kubota, not sure which. My advice would be to keep both the old Fords cause they are hard to beat. The new one can do a lot for ya, but those old Fords, well maintained, will do ya well. Not to mention their collector value later on in years. My neighbor has the bucket and a back hoe on his new one. Does a lot on his property with it....he used to keep cattle, he is in his late 70's now so has slowed down a lot, but he still gets out there tooling around with both of those tractors. He will clear an area, then run the bushhog on the old Ford where he cleared. He does that because the old Ford is tough as nails and rather large, he has had it for as long as I can remember and Ive known him since I was a young kid. And that old Ford is still reliable. Just my thoughts.

Respect to all Americans who still value the family life. Maximum respect to the kind , calm and caring father and his daughter who loves her father dearly . An advice from all my heart to all the wives in America hold on to your family . Love your husband and respect him and don't fall under pressure of the deceptive media that encourages wives to challange thier husband . Words like " I can lay down to find out the size of the pocket " " Ok .. It's a date" ... posing and acting sexy in front of the camera and other men is very disrespectful and disloyal to the relatioship.
@charliehos39362 жыл бұрын
I’m sure you know what you’re doing but I would Invest in roll bars for the two older models which don’t have the safety features of the new one. When you have the attachment-s connected (bush hog/disc etc.) they’re relatively safe. Never, ever try to pull someone out when they are stuck in mud. They may be old but they have the power to flip straight over backwards when you release the clutch. Don’t worry about the new one because you will be a pro in a couple of days. Be safe and happy plowing!
@fruitfarmfords82432 жыл бұрын
If you hook up to the swinging drawbar, under the pto, you can pull all the people out of the mud, everytime.. it's a tractor, made to pull, completely safe. Only time they become unsafe is when people hook up to the three point arms or where the top link goes out of ignorance.
