Well maybe if it didnt cost 3k plus for a deep gum cleaning, or dentist didnt cost an arm and a leg, or most insurance only cover 1500 a year even if a family plan.

I would say the answer is no. The bacteria is not literally a part of the tooth, it is surrounding it. A tooth should only come out when it comes out very easily. If it still has enough support bone to be stable, even with significant bone loss, then the bacterial decay needs to be removed with an explorers, curettes, etc. Dentists extract teeth because the patients pain will go away, due to the electrical conduit(the tooth) being missing. But the systemic disease causing material is still present in the gums and needs to be surgically removed.

I already had bone cleaning surgery 7 years ago and I've always been very careful with my teeth and I clean them frequently and that way I'm taking care of my teeth and gums but what is certain is that this year I've lost a lot of bone and I'm almost out of my bones teeth... for me it will be a shock to lose my teeth, they are beautiful and putting on a dental plate will be shocking. No money for luxuries, all I have left is dental plaque

Maybe something needed in the diet? Try Dr. Christopher's "Bone Flesh and Cartilage" Formula. Or Diatomaceous Earth. Maybe these will add minerals. Also Dr. Ellie here on KZbin has a cleaning protocol that appears to be very successful. 🙏🏽

I just had all of my teeth taken out at 35 years old because of perio problems and severe bruxism from ptsd and anxiety disorder. Hopefully the VA hospital can help with implants though.

I know gum disease can also cause other issues like heart disease. Would the tooth extraction "cure" these other potential issues from happening?

Nope. My two cents- Because the bacteria have already saturated the neighborhood: (the gums and surrounding tissues) . Dentist wanted to remove about 12- of my teeth, front, back sides, lol everywhere just to attack the periodontal. I choose the LANAP.

@@everything-pz2ev Yes. A marked improvement. No more Gumb bleeding. No abscesses just out of nowhere. Note, the patient will need to continue maintenance; flossing, brushing, and basically an extra step from what was previously being done. I feel as though my gaps are tightening.

I have receding gums on my two upper front teeth. It is causing my nose to tickle, I sneeze often and get a runny nose. I know it's is from the nerve, because when I breathe it feels strange, like a bit cold and tingly. Is there anything I can do (except prevent further damage) to make this go away? I have done some cleaning at the dentist. And use the right tooth paste.
