This is one of two songs that came into my life in 1961 and still hold as much priority today as they did back them. The other one is Dedicated To The One I Love and both of them were by the Shirelles.

One thing i will always remember about my mum... When i was a child she'd often sing this song as she walked me to school.. I dunno whether to smile or get tears in my eyes... I miss her so much... Only 47 when she died 5 years ago -.- "I'd like to know if your love, is the love i can be sure of... So tell me now and i wont ask again, will you still love me tomorrow?" My dad may have treated her like shit but i loved her more than anything in the world.

The artists I've heard cover this make the mistake of trying to emote too much with the way they sing it - the original is has feeling but in a wistful way, it's not supposed to be a ballad.

the Shirelles were not a one Hit Wonder-In fact they headlined many rock shows, and were considered very much the fore-runners of the Ronettes, the Supremes and most female super groups.

Hello,is this mind over matter? aka, true love over sex? acording to my understanding, this song implies that after her lover was with her and had sex ,will he still be interested in her ? that she was not a one night stand,.it touches the deepest in us ,and then The Shirelles are so sweet that they can convey this very well...Roberto
