You came up with a wonderful point, as the car market moves towards EV, the brand doesn't matter for the consumer. The two things that matters to the consumer is range and charging facilities. So to put in layman terms, I need two cells 1.5 V each to put in my TV remote, it doesn't matter to me whether it is an Everready or Novino or Panasonic or a Duracell...

Solar storms can theoretically impact an EV’s electric parts. The risk is minimal due to built in protections. However maybe extreme events could pose a small but notable risk primarily to charging systems and grid connected components.

The situation remains speculative until the investigation concludes. For now Volkswagen is actively working with the authorities to resolve the matter. We hope for a positive outcome enabling them to continue providing service and launching new products as before.

@venukrithish007 It's actually not clear yet. Because claiming 1.2 Billion dollar tax for over a decade on CKD model doesn't make sense. CKD model market in india is not that big to have a 1.2 billion dollar tax evasion. FYI, M&M was recently as latest as August 2024 was in trouble for tax evasion. No-one including moto wagon said anything similar to this that time. Wierd!!!!

nissan is in a difficult situation. It all started with CEo escaping in a container out of Japan followed with failing EV projects inspite of great Leaf Success. They failed to reinvent and develop new interest for customers beyond initial Leaf. Their ICe engines are failing to give numbers. HONDA Nissan is not going well in EV initiative . On top of all this their runway is just for 12 months and Renault pulling off at this instant. My guess would be a chinese or a Indian conglomerate might take over. India numbers of Nissan or Renault wont even fun the montly expenses 😂

Why no one talks about how much pressure automakers are facing globally, ICE is almost dead in western countries , but after russian war on ukraine europe is thinking about switching to ice due to power shut downs , think about how much each year automakers spend on R&D , especially with euro norm or bs norms getting updated in very short time , a car company could get the returns for the R&D after selling certain numbers of car , but if they miss the target then its certainly a loss, they also need to update the cars regularly, and we could talk more on it , but no one is opening their mouth on it

Europeans spend lot on R&D but their vehicle's software reliability is not that great with lot of issues. If you open the financial report of Mercedes, you will notice that they spend 90000 Crores INR per year on R&D globally which is huge money! Now all the traditional automakers are suffering financially and this situation will create lot of pressure on the economy & people globally because auto industry has lot of suppliers and sub suppliers with heavy capital investment. Let us wait and watch.

What is the fate of the new buyers here? There are companies who have closed down because of political & taxation issue in many countries.
