Those guys did really good work. It was better quality and more professional than a lot of work you see in the States.

Wow Greg i hope you tipped those guys. Very professional , You were anxious at first as it was there only second gate install. From my 44 years in construction these guys deserve a good shoutout!!! Very professional and they went above and beyond the scope of work to meet your expectations. I watched your video closely and i wish they were in Canada to do my gate installs. I really appreciate you gave those guys a chance , it really compliments your character. That's why i watch your vlogs !! thank you !

Another informative and relevant video. You guys might not be getting arrested in every country that you visit in your videos or show a lot of skin 😂, but your videos are useful to those of us that plan to move there without rose colored glasses on. Not only do you discuss problems that occur, (brownouts, water issues, skin tax, scams, supply issues, visa issues, etc…) but what your fix was. Some vloggers don’t mention any of the negative things to attract and keep viewers. I appreciate your honest take, with both good and bad.

I remember how glad i was to finally get a garage door opener , makes getting in and out of the garage and car so easy ! Can a Flood light be added to the process ON Off with the gate? That is the Best Greg ! 18 seconds !

The rust on the gate and columns could be coming from the tops of the columns and could be rusting rebar and is rusty water that is running off or splashing in the rain.

Congratulations of the gate project….. that’s right up there with solar in my book. Just following you, I know the grass/weeds in your rocks drives you crazy, I finally found a weed killer at ACE that works really good ( I mix it a little strong )I can get name if interested. Take care.

Hey Greg, the name of the product is KLEAR WEED 480SL. It comes in a liter container. I put in 1/2 liter and mix with water in my 2 liter sprayer. Works great. I’m still using my first batch for maintenance every few weeks. I think it was around 750 peso. I got it at ACE at Clark SM Mall.

Excellent job and greatly documented 👍 just one question: does it mean you no longer have to physically lock 🔒 the gate and the motor is strong enough by itself to prevent someone to push / pull the gate open manually?
@buildingthephilippines4 ай бұрын
I have 2 types of devices to keep the gate from being able to be lifted off the gear. I will show on a future video.

Thank you for this video. i am also planning on doing a remote sliding gate. Where did you buy the machine for the gate and what brand. This Video really helps.
@buildingthephilippines3 ай бұрын
@jakeramos6006 there's only one brand on shopee or lazada. I bought the 300 watt, larger then what I needed. Make sure you have enough track. It comes with 4 meters. Buy extra remotes too.
