Nicaragua is a beautiful country full of vibrant culture, stunning scenery, and friendly people. The climate is warm and sunny year-round, making it ideal for those who love the outdoors. Nicaragua's tropical climate and diverse terrain make it a paradise for adventurers, whether you enjoy water sports, hiking, bird watching, or exploring the rain forest. The cost of living is much lower than in most western countries, allowing for a comfortable lifestyle while still being able to save money. Furthermore, Nicaragua offers great cultural experiences such as learning the traditional cuisines, dance styles, and music. In addition, Nicaragua is a perfect place for nature lovers as it hosts an array of national parks and wildlife reserves. All these factors combined make Nicaragua a great place to live and be happy.

Similarly, I've worked for a company in the US for 25 years. And that company has been hiring Nicaraguans (online!!!!) for a very long time, long before I moved here permanently. So I can say with utmost certainty as well that the system works because the staff in Nicaragua that work for the company in the US have been getting paid for most of a decade and live their lives from those jobs. So I'm used to the process from the other side, too!

Very happy that you found your happiness. It is absolutely unbelievable how bad life in North America is getting. In Canada it is becoming quite normal to get a 2nd job or work huge amounts of overtime to handle the increased expenses. People value that amazing house and the fancy car more than actually living their life. It is unbelievable 😢

Yeah, thats a great idea! Many foreigners have this impression that if they go to get healthcare in Nicaragua, its gonna be like some dirt floor and a bed of straw, even if they pay for private healthcare 🤣 At least that's how its talked about in the USA! Meanwhile here you can find a great doctor and get real health advice for like... $20-$40 uninsured... provided you network and find a genuine doctor!

Good video. You should produce a video on what kind of on-line jobs you recommend and how to apply. On-line work isn't for everybody, and perhaps you should talk about that, too. Another topic is how best to obtain and renew a visa. In some countries it's a real hassle to actually live long-term. Thanks for the info on Nicaragua.

Thanks for a great video Jack! I think the reason so many people in the U.S. want to buy a house in Nicaragua right away is that we've seen the rent prices in the U.S. sky rocket. If I didn't own my own home, I wouldn't be able to afford rent. I'd never be able to retire. So people are worried that will happen in Nicaragua.

Can you make videos on how Nicaraguans can make $5+/hr working online, I've worked in the local call centers and was making $550-600 a month, I know a lot of people are working from home, but I would to hear your take on making more money in Managua(y), also, I left the call center industry to pursue a career as an automotive technician, but I'm not making enough money and will be looking for an online job soon. great video as always.

The best job is a job where you work for a small team based out of california or another high cost of living area. You want a boss who you can talk to directly. Don't waste your time with one of those jobs that pays minimum wage and you never get to interact with the boss. Its not ideal. You want a situation where you can become so valuable for such a low rate that they are incentivized to keep you. So, you want to be working for a small company or small team based in california. Youd be suprised how many "Start ups" people there have on the side of their full time jobs... Ideally the job earns $1000 a month but $700 a month is doable as a foreigner if you don't have any debt you need to pay

It depends where you live in Nicaragua. If you live in a rural area then the shipping outside of the country is a pain (as far as I know) But if you live in Managua or another major city; then you can use DHL and UPS and FedEx and whatnot to ship packages to other countries.

I am visiting. What zones in the capital do you recommend. I want to rent a small house with garden. Right now I am in an apt. It's nice but has no garden. I don't want to live like my former Canadian roommate who is also a digital nomad. She moved into a 750 a month townhouse in a posh gated community. I don't want to pay that much.
@JackPitmanNica
@JackPitmanNica Жыл бұрын
$750 is incredibly expensive rent by Nicaraguan standards. I pay $320 for a house and locals think that's a lot of money for rent! You can easily find a house to rent for $200 - $400 per month.

I heard that it was illegal to take a job from a Nicaraguan?. I work as an Emergency Nurse and have a lot of clinical experience. I was curious to know if there were exceptions related to jobs in the medical field?
@JackPitmanNica
@JackPitmanNica Жыл бұрын
Basically, you can't just go to a place and get a job while you are here. But... if you apply and register and whatnot and wait to get approved all that, then there are lots of skills that they would make exceptions for , you just have to start the process BEFORE you try to get the job, make sense? I don't know much more about the specifics, you would have to talk to somebody with experience or an abogado

In many cases, Nicaraguans can't work online because there is a lack of jobs that are offered for them. Americans have many more potential online job options as they can take full blown US jobs that are only offered to Americans. Nicaraguans CAN work online, but they do have fewer job options than we do. I know Nicaraguans who have tried to work online and the services block payments to Nicaragua. There are definitely services (KZbin) that DO pay into Nicaragua, but there are others that do not. So options exist, but Americans retain working advantages that are quite unfair.
@JackPitmanNica
@JackPitmanNica Жыл бұрын
Absolutely ! The information Nicaraguans need to utilize the internet is not easily or readily available to them. It is true that traditional work is often unavailable for Nicaraguans online; but that doesn't really matter. Why? Because Nicaraguans do not need to find the "good jobs" from the west. Let me explain. In Silicon Valley and other similar locations throughout the world; there are hundreds of thousands of well paid Americans. Of these hundreds of thousands of well paid tech-workers; over 20% of them are involved in side gigs and startups in adition to their main job. There are many of these individuals who seek to employ others to create content, work with AI, and various other online-labor that they need done. In the world of tech startups and side-hustles; having a video editor, an AI script writer, a language teacher, etc whom can work for $1,000 a month; this is a huge blessing to the startup because it is not normally possible for them. There exists a huge opportunity for Nicaraguan people to undercut the high-cost of American tech labor. This is an innevitibility; due to the low relative cost of Nicaragua in general. The only thing thats missing at the moment is the skills. Most Nicaraguans do not think they have access to skill-building materials. But that isn't true. In reality, any Nicaraguan with access to KZbin can empower themselves to learn and earn $5-$10 an hour working online. As time progresses, more and more Nicarguans will catch on to this. In the west, we may scoff at these numbers, but $5 an hour is more than most college-educated Nicaraguans earn. $10 an hour? That is absolutely fantastic. Nicaraguans can work online working part time for other economies and with patience and diligence they can double, triple, or quadruple their incomes multiple times. I've met some Nicaraguans and told them it is possible to find basic online work for $5 an hour... and they looked me in the eye and said "No, that is impossible, $5 an hour is too much". But I've met other Nicarguans... who have listened to what I've said... levereage their skils... and then doubled their income on multiple occasions. Once you experience what it is like to provide value to a small team or small business from Nicaragua; you can't go back. The life is too sweet. You'd be suprised how much of life is mental.... whether you are Nicaraguan or foreign... the obstacles we talk about become real... but we must have a blind faith in what we do... we must believe that there is alwas an answer... otherwise we will never progress
