No, actually people are simply rejecting the premise constantly set by piers in his each show. Once he's done with "condemn Hamas" game he goes on saying "they knew that Israel was going to blowback". There he evades the fact that October 7th was already a blowback to what has been going on and since decades. People are not willing to be made guided step by step with piers' line of defect reasoning only to be left disoriented and end up in contradicting themselves. That is the ongoing fight behind the words. Same thing happened with Emily. She had been rejecting the numbers but as soon as she agreed Israel should kill less children, he turned it over her and said well that means you admit that they kill too many. From the technical debate perspective this is why a condemn game for each side bounces back and forth and noone agrees to play this game with him. Having said that he spared the Israeli side from such discomfort for a long time until recently.

Actually... HAMAS was the result of the PLO being too soft and weak, (according to HAMAS) on the aspect of peace. PLO was negotiating and HAMAS wants no peace and no Jews PERIOD. They are allowed, infact there are many journalists in Gaza reporting. The problem is that many of these journalists are sponsored by Hamas and Al-jhahzira, which means you only get to see what Hamas wants you to see. Many times, these channels accidentally broadcasted things which were not supposed to air. For example the Palestinian Islamic jihad's rocket that was fired at a hospital in Gaza. They broadcasted it on live air, then quickly cut and blamed Israel shortly after. Or, more recently an interview of a gazan women crying and saying how she's suffering and starving. Then when she's done talking the reporter starts talking and in the background you can see the women wiping her tears and getting applause and high fives while laughing. Another one: A video depicting how supplies are transported on the streets with a rope so that "an Israeli sniper wouldn't shoot you", while an older man walks right in front like nothing's wrong. Showing that a sniper is not there, and even if there was, they wouldn't just shoot whoever passes.
