I’ve gone through this and found out recently she’s with someone else. It’s killing me also, sick to the stomach that you can’t stop thinking about them, but at the end of the day when you make yourself available and they don’t come back it’s out of your control, nothing you can say or do will change there mind as they already know they could of had you back but they didn’t. As hard as this sounds actions speak louder then words, if you want someone wants you they will have you if the feeling is mutual. It’s killing me but time is a healer. My advice would be to cut all contact with them and get it out the way or else it will just prolong the pain. Keep on going

ive made some of the mistakes you mention, ive rang, sent emails txts, bumoed into her loads, we do live so close to each other, so its hard not to , now hopefully its not too late, i will do no contact, we broke up 4 weeks ago, but some mitigating factors, i suppose each indivials case is very different, huge stress(job) and other factors on her side didnt help. i didnt do anything wrong, her feelings changed just like that, but i think it was because of the other stresses, so hoping when everything subsides, and she's out of this moment. she does think like you say they do in the videos, because things have been good before. see what happens.

Long story, short. I was taking to a guy on and off for a month or two. It took a while for him to open up to me. He had trust issues which I totally respected. I told him that I really liked him and we spoke every single day. He said the same towards me. He then started being hot & cold towards me and I told him that I can’t keep chasing him unless he is ready so I wished him good luck. So I did no contact with him. He text me 8/9 months later and apologised to me and told me he was ready to move on and thanked me for being there for him and told me that he was just scared. I respected that and I assured him that I wasn’t going to hurt him. So we started talking again everyday and everything was really good between us. He fully opened up to me and we were getting along normally but after two or three weeks he started to go cold on me again. I saw him liking other guys nude photos on social media and just being generally distant. So I confronted him about it. And this wasn’t the first time I confronted him. He told me I need to focus on myself so I asked him why he messaged me again after such a long time then and ready to commit and he started getting defensive about it and sort of trying to manipulate & gaslight me so I told him...look I’ve been very transparent and open with you from the very start and my feelings towards him. I told him that he’s playing some weird game and that I wasn’t having it anymore. He just didn’t respect me really at all. He then decided to block me, yet he was the one who reached out to me to then go cold again?? 😂 It was very confusing and made me wonder how many other guys he was doing it too. I was stupid to respond to him when he reached out to me again. Lesson learnt though. People like that are just really insecure & they play this love game and draw you when they really have no intention of committing to a relationship with you. He’s got serious trust issues but I can’t be there to help him move on anymore because he’s pushed me away so many times. He was just using me for emotional support and only need me when it suited him. Never let someone try to manipulate & control you like the way i let him do it to me. You’re worth more than that and deserve someone who respects you and wants the best for you! It’s difficult but you’ve got to be strong.

It sounds like he either felt he wasn’t good enough or he was insecure or that there is a piece of him that’s not giving him 100% to you. Something is holding him back either someone else or fear of letting you down or not being 100% sure about you and him or he could just be wanting to not commit fully -has nothing to do with his age cause he can be 25 or 35 or 45 and not be ready to commit.
