Great video. I did what you are saying 11years ago (First time dog owner, Brown Lab) Tog 4 weeks off. First week left here alone for 15-30 minutes wile she was buesy. next week 1H. next weeek 2-4H and last week 4-7H. Hard work. But i got a dog that dident break any stuff and was full of enagy and still ready to learn. I trained here to retrive game. But only tog here on a couple of hunts. But til the day I had to take here to the wet she was a great compainon. And I never regretted the 4 weeks I spent thinking about how sad she was at home, waiting the houres I had set for that day. And I had i Big creat, that I used for here bed.

Look I know all dogs are different, but our choc lab was toilet trained in 24 hours after we adopted her. From the 12 month mark we installed a dog door in the laundry. She never chewed or damaged anything inside when we were gone for work. My wife did invest in 1 hour dog training every day after work, that might have been the game-changer for us!

I've heard some trainers say DO NOT put bedding and blankets into crates because they could be chewed on and ingested by the puppy and then become sick and have to have surgery.

Clearly this trainer has never owned a lab, mine has eaten frisbees like they are candy

No that’s terrible. Find someone who can walk him in between or don’t get a dog.

Could you do training videos With new untrained puppies. Everyone seems to show training with already trained puppies.

@@marklinford145 no I don't he talks weird on these videos. If you watch his older videos he spoke like a human. I think he's awesome but I wish he'd go back to speaking normally, put me off his videos :(
