Without getting too much in your business, do you have advice for maneuvering through ownership after it's been passed down to multiple great, great grands? Some of which are unknown?

My great great great grandfather had over 1000 acres of land in South Carolina. He lost all of it due to Jim Crow laws and infringement by the government. I found out about this just 12 years ago. Fast forward my grandmother passed away and left her home (Beautiful brick 2 story home) to my mother and aunts. I talked to them about keeping it and they sold it and moved on. What you and your family are doing is something that just brings me pure joy. Generational wealth isn't always about money but passing along something tangible for your family to own for generations to come. Making your mark on history. Real tears were formed while watching this. As the old folks would say someone raised you right and instilled in you all the values of faith and family. Much love! 💪🏿

Experienced my parents selling their part of the families land to their brothers. One of the brothers always wanted to build a home there but he never did. Now he is gone and for years his wife hasn't allowed anyone to come onto this empty piece of property. And his kids want to sell it. Very sad.

I've been a silent watcher since joining your channel sometime this year but OMG after watching this video I had to comment! This has to be the most impressive video, project, build, and all of that ... I've seen!!! The fact a Black family has successfully passed down land generations and it wasn't taken or sold away is impressive in itself. Now additionally, you are both building a whole (pretty much green) community on it to call it HOME. I love it!!! My family is currently living in Texas, but we’re from the DMV. We are ready to move back home and the thing we miss the most is gardening. It’s tough here with the heat to grow things. My grandmother me inspired to have land. She grew up on a farm and kept my sister and I for years then we'd return every summer at her new house where she tilled the land and built her own garden and fruit trees.😍😍😍 I know what it's like to "live off the land". My grandmother passed away around 2019 and I got an opportunity to do something I always dreamed about with my sister. Not realizing the opportunity would come in 2020, during a whole pandemic no less! 😅😅😅 I purchased 10 acres in 2020 and the lot next to it became available again and God gave me the money to purchase the 10 acre lot next to it.🥰🥰🥰 I now own 20 acres and plan to finally break ground this year.😃😃 I just wish my Grandma was here to see it. But, I'm surrounded by cardinals and I know she's watching over me and guiding me. I subscribed and look forward to learning so much from your channel. What a beautiful property you have Will, I love the respect and love that you show to your family, with the help from Austin, family and friends you’ve created a stunning legacy that I’m positive will be cherished for many years to come. I look forward to seeing how your lives are enriched by living here, it will only continue to improve as the trees and plants start to grow and thrive. You both definitely deserved a holiday after all that work you put in, looking forward to the upcoming train video. Best wishes to the both of you

SO sick. I love what you guys are doing, and I want to do the same for my family; you are inspiring us! I'm so glad I found you through Mike Downie, and welcome to Texas! I grew up in Allen, and now own my first house with my Wife in Princeton; in retrospect, we wish we'd have done what you are doing now, and we will get there! I'm so excited to see what you guys make of your spot! ♥

I was just in Allen two weeks ago. I got to Dallas area to get a dose of the city life and then I come back home 😭. And congrats on your first house that’s amazing as well. You can get there!
